Last week, as the economy slipped further toward recession, the momentum seemed to be shifting in places such as Nevada, a swing state that went for George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004 and has been seen as promising turf for Senator John McCain for months. If you asked most Americans why the economy is tanking most will blame President George Bush. (see story)
With the highest foreclosure rate in the nation, a tourism industry damaged by rising food and energy prices, and an unemployment rate at a 23-year high, Nevada is, according to polls, edging Obama's way.--Lisa Wangsness
What’s unfortunate about that is Democrats have more to do with this disaster than President Bush but because of uber-partisanship in the Democrat Party and the partisan leaning media most American will vote thinking that they are voting for change when their vote will actually bring them more of the same.
Think about it what medical professional would treat an illness first and then diagnosis it later?
Yet your Political leaders have told you that this is no time for finger pointing this is time for treating the financial crisis, in doing so our leaders throw your money at a symptom and neglect the actual causes. What that means is over $700 billion dollars and no names of the culprits in business and in government that caused this mess.
But at last, Bill O’Reilly did something that every American would like to do, he confronted someone who was actually responsible for this financial melt down Congressman Barney Frank, Democrat of Massachusetts the following is an amazing exchange where finally a Democrat is rightly blamed for the World wide financial melt down. (see video about 7mins)
Democrats like Congressman Frank have an amazing ability to disregard facts and blame President Bush for all things as demonstrated by Representative Frank and as seen in the Vice President debate where Gov. Palin chided Sen. Biden for the constant Democrat blame game.
No, in fact, when we talk about the Bush administration, there's a time, too, when Americans are going to say, "Enough is enough with your ticket," on constantly looking backwards, and pointing fingers, and doing the blame game.—Gov. Sarah Palin, Republican Vice President nomineeBecause most Democrats will only listen to Democrats or liberal leaning commentary there is a perception that this mess is the result of failed policies of the Bush administration when as O’Reilly points out Democrats like Barney Franks refuse to acknowledge their significant role in it.
Therefore many Democrat voters will vote for what they perceive to be change when they will actually be voting for the Party, their own Party that is primarily responsible for getting this country into the financial straits that we presently find ourselves in. Watch as Democrats resist Republican efforts to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.(see video 8mins)
It has been because of Democrat “good intentions” which was in actuality fiscal irresponsibility that help caused this financial crisis. A vote for a Democrat is not a vote for change. A vote for a Democrat is a vote for ignorance and a vote for more of the same.
What we need is a vote for reform. Reform will only come when we throw out all of those who were against regulating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Democrats are only pretending to be the Reformers now.
Barack Obama and Democrats will say anything to win this election. Our economy’s failure is not due to 8 years of failed policies of the Bush administration our economy’s failure is due to Democrats resistance to regulation of Fannie and Freddie according to former President Clinton.
“I think the responsibility the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac."—Bill ClintonOn that word alone no one can vote for a Democrat in good conscience. According to President Clinton and according to the above congressional hearing Democrats got us into this mess and that does not equate into a vote for Obama!
