Wrong war Congress!

"If we will not endure a king as a political power we should not endure a king over the production, transportation, and sale of any of the necessaries of life."—John Sherman

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi thought that the 2006 elections was a mandate giving them the authority to wage war against the Bush White house but a 14% approval rating of a Democratic Controlled Congress is a clear indication that what Congress is doing is not what the people wanted. The people wanted this Congress to protect their interest against real enemies of the people not Democrat’s own political enemies.
The White House on Thursday pushed back against congressional investigations of administration activities, saying lawmakers should spend more time passing laws to solve domestic problems.
Last week, in a constitutional showdown with Congress, the Bush administration claimed executive privilege and rejected demands for White House documents about the firings of eight U.S. attorneys. The House and Senate judiciary committees have set a deadline of 10 a.m. Monday for the White House to explain its basis for the claim.
This Democrat Controlled Congress has waged war against the war in Iraq, they have waged war against the Patriot Act, which is meant to protect Americans against terrorist acts, they have waged war against individuals and cabinet members in the Bush administration in an attempt to either embarrass or obstruct the Bush administration’s conducting of the country’s business.

This Democratic controlled Congress was on the wrong side of the recent immigration fight, which they lost, if not for Republicans Senators and a few Democrats who are up for re-election in 2008, President Bush, Democrats and a few Republican Senators would have sold American citizenship to 12 to 20 million illegal aliens at the behest of big business in this country.
It is time for the American people to get off the defense and take the offense against corporate power, the way it was done in the consumer, environmental and worker areas from 1965 to 1975 and beyond, and move to new frontiers of subordinating the big corporations to the rights and necessities of real people. –Ralph Nader
While Democrats are waging a political war against the Bush administration, the Bush administration is selling the country out to special interest and big business without one peep from a Congress that have launched an all out assault against the Bush Presidency, but it is the wrong war Congress!
The White House has received a flurry of inquires since Democrats took control of Congress in January, and has turned over some 200,000 pages of documents.

"They've launched over 300 investigations, had over 350 requests for documents and interviews, and they have had over 600 oversight hearings in just about 100 days," Stanzel said. "So that's about six oversight hearings a day."
Wrong war Congress! Why haven’t you asked one question regarding the North American Community a project that is threatening the sovereignty of the United States of America, why? Why haven’t you launched even one investigation, requested one document or conducted one interviewed on a Bush official on their complicity in a plan to bypass Congress and the American people in a scheme hatched up by international corporate interest for corporate security and corporate prosperity?

I’m betting that you haven’t and you won’t investigation the Security and Prosperity Partnership, the North American Community Plan or the Council of Foreign Relations.

I’m betting that you won’t investigate the following Companies who are complicit in orchestrating the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act or the plan for the North American Community. The follow government agencies and companies are:

1) U.S. Commerce Department
2) U.S. Transportation Department
3) U.S. Labor Department
4) The National Security Council
5) Merck
6) Federal Express Corporation
7) General Motors Corporation
8) Ford
9) UPS
10) Lockheed Martin Corporation
11) General Electric Company
12) Campbell Soup Company
13) Chevron Oil
14) Kansas City Southern Industry
15)Mittal Steel USA
16) New York Life Insurance Company

Instead of warring against the Bush administration for political advantage this Congress should be warring against the enemies of the people foreign and domestic. Congress knows who they are because it’s been reported to them in detail.
And if the enemy of the people is shown to be international corporations with a global agenda to make usurious profits while driving down the wages of middle class Americans Congress should be warring against these unaccountable and unscrupulous rogues not the peoples government.

However when Congress is bought and paid for by these corporate powers the peoples rights are left exposed and subsequently taken away by the very government that is supposed to protect our rights.
Until the Congress wage against the enemies of the people, Congress is waging the wrong war at the wrong time!
