Global warming is not Science

Last week marked the 20th anniversary of the mass hysteria phenomenon known as global warming. Much of the science has since been discredited.

NASA now begrudgingly confirms that the hottest year on record in the continental 48 was not 1998, as previously believed, but 1934, and that six of the 10 hottest years since 1880 antedate 1954. Data from 3,000 scientific robots in the world's oceans show there has been slight cooling in the past five years, never mind that "80% to 90% of global warming involves heating up ocean waters," according to a report by NPR's Richard Harris.-- BRET STEPHENS

Bret Stephens’ “Global Warming as Mass Neurosis” explains that Global warming is not science and that its proponents offer religious like claims about Global warming which are to be believed by faith in spite of the physical evidence that the Earth is actually cooling.

Stephens offers three reasons why Liberals blindly follow Global warming propaganda.

Ideological convenience, theological replacement, and Munchausen syndrome

According to Stephens, global warming is a hodge-podge of all Left leaning Ideological beliefs conveniently wrapped up into and ultimately resulting in a cataclysmic eco- disaster.

Then Stephen seems to suggest that global warming allows the Liberal to replace belief in God and God’s judgment on the earth and man with an animist paganism which ironically has nature pronouncing judgment on man via itself.

Lastly Munchausen syndrome according to the Cleveland clinic, is a type of factitious disorder, or mental illness, in which a person repeatedly acts as if he or she has a physical or mental disorder when, in truth, they have caused the symptoms. People with factitious disorders act this way because of an inner need to be seen as ill or injured


Likewise, Global warming proponents have an unhealthy need to see the earth as injured by mankind (more correctly that would be Munchausen syndrome by proxy). So they have created the perfect multi-symptom conflicted affliction in which the phenomena of cooling or heating, storms or lack of storms, floods or droughts are all symptomatic of Global warming.

Stephens concludes that global warming is not science at all and its adherents are merely sick-souled believers in a theory that is a sick-souled religion.

Come on now, if Senate Major Leader Harry Reid really believed what he just stated it would be criminal for him and his fellow Democrats not to attempt to pass legislation to immediately stop all coal and gasoline (fossil fuel) production and consumption in the United States.

If Reid actually though coal and gasoline is making us sick shouldn’t he and his fellow Democrats stop wasting time attempting to cancel out the second amendment and simply ban all gas using engines? After all gas engines are not a guaranteed constitutional right and more people are killed by cars than guns in America.

But as yet not one piece of legislation has been written and put forth to stop all coal and gasoline produce.

Since there is no legislation pending in the Democrat controlled Congress to stop and end all gasoline and coal production I would have to assume that Sen. Reid is not really sincere about his assessment regarding coal and fuel.

Unless he does believe what he says but he doesn’t care about the American people’s welfare.

Now I’m not advocating a ban on gasoline run engines that would be silly almost as silly as Senator Reid talking about Global warming and putting carbon in the air.

I’m just saying as a Carbon-based life form that 100% of all life on earth is carbon based. Carbon is the primary building block for all life, animal, insect or plant.

Senator Reid where did you get your information that carbon is making us sick, because whether you realize it or not, Senator Reid, carbon is essential.

Carbon is not the problem Senator Reid only Carbon-based Democrat Senators and Carbon-based Liberals who are attempting to erase all carbon from the universe, they are the problem!

I Can’t Stop Laughing Must Be Silly Season Once Again

I almost fell out of my seat laughing watching Ret. Gen. Wesley Clark’s assault on Sen. John McCain.

I thought what temerity and out right brazenness the Democrats have. They offered up two candidates in Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton with absolutely no executive experience, with absolutely no military experience and now they want to attack a candidate that has that experience.

I’m still laughing at the look on Wesley Clark’s face when Bob Scheiffer interrupted him and said, “I have to say, Barack Obama has not had any of these experiences either”

And this is the funny part, in election 2004 it was all about who had the military experience Sen. Kerry even had home made videos as proof that he was in Vietnam commanding a little swiftboat. Interesting enough that was plenty of necessary experience for the Democrats then. Not to mention that according to Democrat’s President Bush’s military experience was fraudulent.

So now here’s Wesley Clark he can’t say that Sen. McCain didn’t actually fly combat missions in the war, and Clark can’t actually say that Sen. McCain didn’t actually have a large squadron Air command in the Navy but what he can say is what McCain did was not good enough for Democrats.

What Wesley Clark can say is that a two term Senate political neophyte with absolutely no credentials is better than any credentials that a Republican who has served in the Senate 21 years and has greater experience in politics, military and governess than Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama combined.

Well its silly season and Democrats have started the season up by taking aim at Sen. McCain’s strongest attribute his distinguished military service.

When fellow Democrat and rival Sen. Clinton took aim at Senator Obama’s life style and education in the Democrat primary by calling him an elitist Sen. Obama took note,

“When somebody makes that argument, particularly given that I've spent my entire life working with workers in low-income communities to try to make people's lives a little bit better, that's when you know you're in political silly season, [t]his is what we do politically when we start getting behind in races, and we start going on the attack.”—Sen Barack Obama

I guess Silly Season was declared early by Sen. Obama’s camp on Sen. McCain via Obama supporter Wesley Clark particularly given that Sen. McCain spent so much of his life in service to his country in the military and as a private citizen.

And if America is on its way to hell in a hand basket you can thank these hapless Republicans for clearing the road to make a more safe and comfortable trip.

Jim McCrery of Louisiana, Ray LaHood of Illinois, Tom Reynolds of New York, and Tom Davis of Virginia are only a few Republicans who knowing the great peril that their country and their Party faces are quitting thereby making their Party’s prospects even bleaker.

Yes these men have served their country same for 20 to 35 years and now because they are out of power they are quitting.

Why? No elected Conservative leadership that’s why. All twelve years that Republicans were in power in both houses of Congress they were a fractured and splintered group.

At the same time that they were being undermined by the Democrats, who were in the minority for the twelve years that Republicans were in power, Republicans that were sympathetic to their Democrat rivals were also undermining their own Party.

Not to mention that Republicans rejected their own Conservative principles and fell subject to corruption, overspending and they rejected Republican Party loyalty for titles like maverick, moderate or compassionate.

Republicans have no one to blame. No one but themselves, they rather quit than fight that’s why I recommended that all incumbent RINOs be challenged in their primaries by Conservatives so that the rebuilding of the Party can begin.

Richard Clark’s plaintive wail before the 911 commission was only a partial admission of guilt for the role that he played over two presidential administrations and his personal failure to help protect the American people from Islamic terrorism on 9/11/2001.

Pro Bush advocates have proudly proclaimed that there hasn’t been another terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11 well there has been now!

Years of un-enforced borders has manifested in the unthinkable. Just as prior to 9/11 no one would have thought terrorist would hijack planes and commit acts of terrorism on American soil, but we should have learned a lesson from our mistakes right?

Wrong! Though the American people have pleaded with the Bush administration and a Democrat Controlled U.S. Congress to enforce the border between Mexico and the United States by wall, fence and/or increased government patrol the American people’s pleads largely have fallen on deaf ears.

This blatant disregard for border security from our government has resulted in a small group of 8 Mexican terrorists crossing over into the United States over the Phoenix Arizona border and assaulting a home with a 50 to 100 round assault rifle attack and killing the resident either on Sunday June 22, 2008 or on Monday June 23, 2008 as reported by Phoenix police. This is an outrage. The first terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11 and it is not being reported by the media? Check your sources you would not have known about this incident if you would not have read about it here! (See story)

This Mexican militia or military attack was planned to be a home invasion and murder and it was.

Need I say it again? A Mexican terrorist militia illegally crossed over into America invaded a home and killed an occupant after 50 to 100 assault rifle rounds were spent and no one is up in arms about it?

Allow me to speculate why, first this is an election year and it involves one of the presidential nominee’s home state. Second this nominee has been a proponent of illegal entry into the United States and open borders. And third this story totally destroys the media’s narrative of the poor illegal crossing to make a better life causing no harm to the mean old Americans who would construct a fence to keep him or her out.

Four of the Mexican terrorists were able to elude police officers and sneak back across the border and four were captured.

Information from one of the suspects on McDowell indicated all the suspects are Mexican Military coming into the United States with full tactical gear and police raid shirts to conduct home invasions. According to the same suspect, they were planning on ambushing the officers following them but, didn’t only because they didn’t have any ammunition left.

In addition, some of these terrorist where captured when their ammunition gave out but they claimed that their mission included killing police officers that interfered with their plans.

After this story broke there were those who attempt to play it down as a drug related incident between feuding drug cartels that hire some of the Mexican military to do their bidding. That would indicate that the South American drug war has spilled across the border into the United States. update listen here 2:16mins


Even if this is true that doesn’t lessen the danger to Americans, that only increases it! Because Mexican drug cartels are in fact killing all who oppose them in Mexico, they have no fear of government officials or the police.

This is the first terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11 and because it may affect the outcome of the 2008 election the media isn’t covering it and you would not have heard of it if you did not read it here! See police interoffice memos here and here.

This is but another example, in Richard Clark’s words, that our government has failed us.

Countries have gone to war over lesser offenses! Ironically in this case it would be over no fences.

Utah’s vote is a RINO killer

Utah’s Congressman challenger Jason Chaffetz beat 6 term incumbent Congressman Chris Cannon in their Republican primary battle by promising to do the job that no American Senator or Congressman will do.

Way to go Utah! By ousting Chris Cannon a proponent of amnesty and the Dream Act, legislation that would confer rights and privileges on the fruits of illegality, you have shown the rest of us in America how to get our country back.

Thank you Utah for setting an example that there are Americans who still care about this country and are willing to do the right thing rather than the politically expedite thing or the politically popular thing.

The Republican Party is at this crossroads where it is attempting to decide whether it is going in the direction of the John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Arnold Schwarzenegger RINO Democrat mini-mes or whether it will keep to the traditional Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich Republican brand.

Utah your vote for Jason Chaffetz adds one more, true Conservative to the fight to wrestle our government back from the hands of special interests and Liberals who would change America for the worst not the better.

Becoming a citizen of the United States of America is earned and means something special. We are the envy of the world and it is no wonder why. We are the nation that empowers the individual with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We are also a nation of laws, guided by a Constitution, to ensure those rights.

The Constitution gives Congress the responsibility “to establish a uniform rule of naturalization.” We have a duty and responsibility to the legal citizens to set the terms of entry and exit. Currently, we are being unfairly asked to subsidize and tolerate a mass of illegal people flooding our country. All Americans used to know things like this Congressman nominee Chaffetz, it is sad to say that you will be a minority in an institution that has lost its way.

But you will also be a great inspiration to the millions upon millions of Conservatives who had lost all hope and had resigned themselves to the inevitability of Liberal Democrats taking this country in the wrong direction without so much as a fight.

The mortgage aid plan would let the Federal Housing Administration back $300 billion in new, cheaper home loans for an estimated 400,000 distressed borrowers who otherwise would be considered too financially risky to qualify for government-insured, fixed-rate loans.-- JULIE HIRSCHFELD DAVIS

Let’s see a Democrat lead Congress’s approval rating is at an abysmal 12%, that’s an historical low and that’s about 12 points lower than President Bush, and to give the stupid American people something that would make the people think better of Congress this Congress offers up more bad home loans!

Interestingly enough Democrat Sens. Dodd and Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D., got preferential home loans from Countrywide Financial Corp. (CFC), a lender at the center of the subprime mortgage mess. Yeah that’s a faith restorer Sen. Dodd!

I say that we just call this what it really is Democrats attempting to buy the Presidency, instead of a chicken in every pot how’s about a new home to put that pot and chicken in!

But at what cost, it seems Democrats are not asking that question.

This bill is a federal government bailout which means that Democrats in an election year are attempting to curry favor with the American people with a bill that will increase the U.S. deficit and further injure the U.S. economy.

Yes Americans need mortgage relief but not in this fashion Senators. What Americans need are the high paying jobs that we once had before Congress allowed American Corporations to outsource high paying jobs to India and China.

In case anyone in Congress is listening Americans don’t need more bad loans Senators. What Americans need is their jobs back; blue collar, white collar jobs, manufacturing jobs, farming jobs, and professional jobs.

All Congress needs to do is protect the American people from American Corporations that game the American economy. Corporations that put profit over people by moving jobs to foreign markets to capitalize on lower wages. You do that Senators and we’ll buy and pay for our own damn houses!

Graham wins primary: You’ve got to be kidding South Carolina!

South Carolina's Lindsey Graham is a flop. He pretends to be a conservative, but sells out conservatives and insults them while doing so. He pretends to be effective at reaching across party lines, but the only thing he effectively does is help the other party.

He inhabits the Senate seat of Strom Thurmond, legendary for great attention to his South Carolina constituents, but Graham spends most of his time trailing behind John McCain like a valet as McCain criss-crosses the country in pursuit of the presidency. He called Ted Kennedy "one of the most principled men I've ever met."

In sum, in the words of conservative movement stalwart Richard Viguerie, "Lindsey Graham is part of the problem."-- Quin Hillyer

How did Sen. Lindsey Graham win the South Carolina primary over Republican challenger Buddy Witherspoon? If Lindsey Graham is the best that South Carolina can do the rest of the nation should seriously reconsider South Carolina’s statehood.

Graham one of the Senators that I pronounced as a “ ex-Senator walking” because of his hand in helping destroy the Republican Party over illegal immigration also known as Comprehensive Immigration Reform was selected by South Carolina Republicans to go against the Democrat choice in November to represent South Carolinians.

Sen. Graham will face Democrat primary winner Bob Conley, 42, an engineer from North Myrtle Beach who is more of a Conservative than Lindsey Graham. Hell Hillary Clinton is more Conservative than Lindsey Graham. But Conley was once a registered Republican and South Carolina GOP official.

Graham on the other hand is a McCain Schwarzenegger Republican who holds no particular allege to Republican and/or Conservative ideas.

He praises liberals, but reserves particular venom for conservatives who disagree with him. The most infamous example came at a speech to the utterly radical Hispanic group La Raze -- it was bad enough that he spoke to them, much less what he said -- when he described what he would do to opponents of the awful immigration proposal he helped Ted Kennedy craft: "We're going to tell the bigots to shut up."

Homosexual Insurgents Assault California Voters Yet Again

What if you woke up tomorrow morning and you no longer had rights as an American citizen. What if someone or some group told you how to act and how to think. And what if you didn’t do as you where told and you were severely and harshly dealt with. Would that be America?

That is exactly what has happened in the state of California where the State Supreme Court of California struck down the People’s initiative proposition, 22 and replaced it with the opinions of four black robed individuals imposing their holier-than-thou will on 31.1 Million Californians.

The People in the majority in this country are under attack, but you knew that. Their traditions, their beliefs, and their way of life are being threatened by 3 to 4 percent of the Nation’s population and by that minuscule minority’s surrogates, supporters and attorneys.

This minority attacks the majority by using U.S. courts and laws as weapons of mass destruction, using the very institutions that were meant to uphold the traditions of our society against it and the majority’s lives, liberties and pursuit of happiness. This minority is waging this war against the majority in the same fashion that al Qaeda uses guerilla tactics and IED’s (roadside bombs) against U.S. troops in Iraq. But you knew that.

This minority uses their corrupt interpretation of law like al Qaeda uses their corrupt interpretation of Islam to wage jihad against all people who are not Muslims.

This minority uses Orwellian tainted words and ideas to confuse language and understanding so that their attacks on the majority have the appearance of benign civil rights causes and legislation, which confuses the ignorant and children, rather than appear to be the threats that they are, real devastating violent overturning societal changing events.

Just what I’m going on about? In an outrageous, unmatched and unbelievable act of arrogance and in-your-face disdain for the California voter, homosexual insurgents have once again declared a fatwa against California voter’s rights.

Lawyers for Equality California, a homosexual al Qaeda like front group, are attempting to block the new People’s marriage initiative, the Protection of Marriage Amendment, from the November 4 general election. This Initiative would add the definition of marriage that the people of California originally intended to be enforced by the People’s Supreme Court in proposition 22 sadly only to find that they must act by initiative once again to put the people’s will into the California Constitution itself.

It was the People of California’s will to protect the definition of marriage from such anticipated court attacks from invading homosexual hedonistic hordes and their attorneys.

That is why the people of California erected the great wall of proposition 22 in 1999 as protection from capricious and fanciful redefinitions of marriage, and as well to protect themselves from the tampering with of American and Western society that they anticipated would come and has come like the rising recent floods in Iowa and Mississippi river towns.

This tampering is not good change this tampering has weakened the family and has weakened American tradition the fundamental structures of American and of Western society.

Yet, homosexual insurgents convinced a majority on the high court of California with specious civil rights and politically correct arguments that had no basis in California Constitutional law to overturn and treat the people’s right to vote like so much flotsam based on these events.

Two years ago, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom thumbed his nose at California voters by illegally issuing marriage licenses to thousands of homosexual couples in open defiance of Proposition 22. Ultimately, the courts declared those so-called "marriages" to be invalid, but left the door open to a future constitutional challenge against traditional marriage.

• Additionally, the courts have undermined Proposition 22 and marriage by upholding an act of the Legislature that gave homosexual "domestic partners" the full legal status of married spouses. A San Francisco judge ruled that Proposition 22, a regular statute, violates the California was Constitution and ordered the licensing of same-sex "marriages." That decision is currently being appealed in the California Supreme Court.

• The Legislature twice passed legislation to allow licensing of homosexual "marriage." Both of these measures were vetoed by the governor.

• On May 15, 2008, the California Supreme Court found a "right" to homosexual marriage in the California Constitution and overturned Proposition 22..—ProtectMarriage.com

Chief Justice Ronald George writing for the majority acknowledged the fact that their ruling had no basis in the California Constitution for the Justice’s decision, yet in spite of that the Justices ruled in favor of homosexual al Qaeda on March 15, 2008 and homosexuals successfully ambushed voters using the California Supreme Court like an Iraqi roadside bomb to blow-up proposition 22 California’s definition of what the People say legalized marriage is in this state.

First, we must determine the nature and scope of the “right to marry” –a right that past cases establish as one of the fundamental constitutional rights embodied in the California Constitution. Noting in his written Judgment that historically civil marriage has always been understood in California Constitutional law to be between a man and a woman the court then reaches outside of the Constitution and the Court’s own rightful authority to invent an abomination to law, tradition and society, homosexual marriage.

Now with equally desperate arguments as used to justify the Courts ruling which deprived 31.1 million Californians of their vote. Equality California is again attempting to exclude the People of California from what could possibly be one of the most important votes in the history of this Country if not the history of the entire western civilization.

Equality California has petitioned a clearly prejudged California Supreme Court to prevent the Protection of Marriage Amendment, which was legally certified by California’s Secretary of State Debra Bowen for the November ballot which would add the definition of marriage to the California Constitution, from appearing on November’s California ballot.

California’s Supreme Court must recuse itself from hearing such a case that is the very least that a Court that has already involved itself in inappropriately legislating from the bench can do.

The People of California by now must realize that they are not only fighting California Courts and politicians, the Liberal Democrat controlled California Legislature and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, no Californians are also fighting against corporations that are funding this homosexual assault against our society, corporations which are only concerned with their revenue goals no matter that they are virtually destroying American culture to achieve them.

The media is reporting this fiasco as if it is some sudden economic windfall for California.

Same-sex weddings could create hundreds of new jobs and pump hundreds of millions of dollars into California's economy, according to a new study released Monday.

Gay couples are projected to spend $684 million on flowers, cakes, hotels, photographers and other wedding services over the next three years - so long as voters don't put a halt to the same-sex marriage spree, according to a study by the Williams Institute at University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.

The study estimates that over the next three years, gay weddings will generate $64 million in additional tax revenue for the state, and another $9 million in marriage-license fees for counties. —The Associated Press reported by CBSNews.com

If California tax revenue is all that the government of California is concerned about then why not legalize prostitution, pornography and all forms of gambling, not just the California lottery. One could project at least a trillion dollars of tax and business revenue in these activities as well!

Homosexual insurgents and their supporters are hoping that they can create so much confusion in California law that their handiwork will be irreversible or they are hoping that the people of California can be totally excluded from the most important decision in California law by the implemented fascist ruling of the state Supreme Court, that established legal homosexuality and now they are attempting to protect that unconstitutional ruling by asking the Court involved in the middle of this controversy to again unfairly rule in their favor. The sensible solution, of opening up offshore drilling and opening up Anwar, never crosses the Liberal’s minds. Maybe because so much of what’s up there (in their heads) is cobwebs and dust. And surveys back me up on that. According to research groups, this Congress has the distinctive record of being the LEAST PRODUCTIVE CONGRESS in the history of the US. No surprise there...........I could have told you that before election day.

The Democratic smear machine did such a great job of making the American voter think that all the Republicans in office were either
crooks or liars, that they “stole” control of the Congress. It turns out that the Democratic party holds the record on that too. Check the facts, and you will see that scandal to scandal, the Democrats hold the record for the largest number of Congressmen and ex-Congressmen, who have conviction records for misdemeanors and felonies..... and that’s not including “pending” cases.

But what about those “alternate” energy sources? Let’s explore them! We’ve been experimenting with Solar for 35 years........and it barely supplies 1% of US energy needs. The same for wind power.....with the possible exception of the Congress........... if we could harness them, our problems would be solved overnight. Nancy Pelosi, the biggest windbag of them all, made all kinds of promises when she became Speaker of the House. She was going to have a "working" House, full of bi-partisan cooperation. To date, she has yet to deliver on one of those promises. Oh, she asked for a larger airplane, in keeping with her status, and managed to throw monkey wrenches into Bush’s Energy Bills, but that has been it.......except for maybe trying to stop funding for the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Just as the liberals couldn’t accept the fact that George W. Bush WON the election in 2000 (in spite of their lying claims), and more decisively in 2004, they can’t accept the fact that it’s their own stupidity that ham-strings them. They are the one party
in the US political system that has continuously managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Why it fell 48 to 36 votes short of a majority and it was stopped and blocked in the Senate and all that the hapless Democrat majority in the Senate could do was produced letters from six senators — including both presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain — saying that they would have voted for the measure had they been there. Yeah woulda, coulda, shoulda, maybe you shoulda been there, after all that is your job Senators!

Undoubtedly Democrats will blame the dastardly Republicans for blocking their bill but if a Democrat majority of Congress wanted to act on this legislation, Sen. Boxer, why then couldn’t you muster up a few more votes? You are in the majority you know.

Oh I see it’s that new math and that new reality that Sen. Boxer is using. You know the reality is the Planet is actually getting cooler according to Scientists, BUT to the Al Gore Global warming enthusiast the Planet has a fever. So instead of debating the Lieberman-Warner legislation on its merits Sen. Reid pulled the legislation to reintroduce it after the elections believing that his reality will prevail with a new President and additional Democrat victories in both the House and Senate.

Haditha: Killing a Honorable Military Career in Coldblood

The 2005 Haditha massacre as it came to be known in the media was portrayed as a tale of military murder and cover-up in which 4 Marines infantrymen and 4 Marines in the chain of command were accused of the out of control murder of 24 noncombatant innocents and a subsequent military cover-up. Congressman John Murtha a former Marine called the incident cold blooded murder.

United States Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Chessani, battalion commander, is the highest-ranking officer to face a combat-related court-martial since the Vietnam War was accused of failing to investigate the 2005 shooting deaths of the 24 Iraqi civilians.

On Tuesday, June 17 Col. Steven Folsom, presiding as the military judge over the case against Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani, ordered the charges dismissed after finding that General James Mattis then commander of both the Marine Corps Forces Central Command and the commander of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton was improperly influenced by Col. John Ewers who was an investigator and witness in the case.

Gen. Mattis approved the filing of charges against Chessani. The General has since been promoted and serves as commander of NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and of U.S. Joint Forces.

The Political influence in this case goes as high as Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and possibly even the President.

Col. Folsom’s watershed ruling found that Col. Ewers, acting as legal adviser to Gen. Mattis, should not have sat in on meetings and discussions along with generals who have overseen the case. That degree of participation by Ewers, who also investigated the killings in the city of Haditha, Iraq, irreparably tainted the decision to charge and prosecute Lt. Col Chessani, Folsom ruled.

Col. John Ewers, a military lawyer took Chessani's statement regarding the 2005 incident, and later became a top legal adviser to Gen. Mattis and also sat in on briefings that helped Mattis decide who would be charged.

Gen. Mattis testified he never talked with Ewers about Haditha, although Ewers was present during a number of legal meetings where Haditha and Chessani were discussed.

Military policy prohibits Ewers from offering legal advice in such meetings because he also was an investigator in the case.

Six of the original eight Marines have had their cases either dismissed or have been acquitted of all charges leaving only Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich to face trial and theMarine Corps has announced that it is appealing Col. Folsom’s ruling that dismissed dereliction of duty charges against Lt. Col. Chessani, who was accused of failing to investigate the 2005 shooting deaths Iraqi civilians.

The whole Haditha incident is reported to be a hoax reported by Time magazine’s Tim McGirk who was fed anti-American propaganda by al Qaeda insurgents to create anti-Americanism at home and abroad.

Lt. Col. Chessani is considering suing Congressman Murtha for libel because Murtha in an overthetop accusation accused Chessani and his men of murder and cover-up.

The Bush administration seems to be looking to war against terrorism within Islamic states without offending Muslims which will only continue to result in needless deaths of American military and the cold blooded killing of honorable military careers!

Rothenberg's Wrong: There are no good options for Democrats

Stuart Rothenberg’s “Why a McCain Win May Be Bad for GOP, Good for Democrats” has it wrong. (see here) Rothenberg’s lose, lose scenario for Republicans comes straight out of a liberal perspective from which he can only forecast dire inevitabilities for Conservatives but allow me to show what could happen if Sen. McCain were to win.

First, Rothenberg is correct there is a Civil War within the Republican Party, John McCain, Arnold Schwarzenegger RINOs vs. Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich Republicans. Democrats have been very successful in aligning themselves with the McCain Schwarzenegger oft times socially Liberal Republicans but Democrat leaders of the 110th Democrat controlled Congress have been often frustrated that their RINO allies have not given them the victories that they promised the American people in 2006.

Victories as ending the Iraq war and other disabling anti-Bush measures, what all of this suggests is Republicans may not be as bad off as many Liberals suppose.

Yet, Democrats have been successful on two fronts branding or negatively defining Republicans and Conservative ideas and triangulation which is stealing Conservative ideas, positions and arguments and presenting those ideas, positions and arguments as their own. Triangulation was how Bill Clinton managed to win against and stay one step ahead of his Republican rivals.

Eight years of bashing George Bush without the president or any Republican defending themselves or protecting their brand has created the huge negatives and low polling approval ratings that we presently see in the media today which affects all Republicans.

Republicans should take a page out of the Obama play book. Sen. Obama immediately started protecting his brand by putting up a website to defend himself against what he presents as unwarranted attacks against him and his supporters has demonstrated the first rule in publicity 101, “Protect your Brand.” President Bush should have done this, years ago.

The fact that Republicans didn’t protect themselves and the fact that they allowed President Bush to twist in the wind against all of the lies and mis characterizations against him, with that “Glad it’s him and not me” attitude, was patently wrong and now Republicans who are attempting to get reelected or elected are realizing that it was really about them all along, the whole Republican Party, not only George Bush but Republican unwillingness to fight for the president and themselves has attributed to even greater numbers of Democrats elected to the House and Senate because Republicans failed to protect their brand and the face of the Republican Party George Bush.

President Bush was merely the living persona which Liberals used to totally annihilate the other side, the Republicans, by proxy. The entire Republican Party was misbranded by scurrilous attacks on the Republican president and apparently Republicans were too stupid to know it although I warned of in 2007 when Democrats were threatening the impeachment of President Bush as the rest of the Republican Party stood idly by just watching.

Understand it isn’t actually about George W. Bush. It isn’t George W. that Democrats wish to impeach, censure or just run out of Washington on a rail, sure Democrats put in a lot of work to destroy his Presidency, but it would be the same thing if any other Republican candidate representing Conservative ideology would dare to lay claim to the most powerful elected office in the world.

Democrats can’t stomach the thought of a Conservative leading this nation. So they’ve skewered President Bush for almost 8 years and so having the chance to impeach him and drive him out of office in shame would give Democrat haters orgasmic shivers of ecstasy which even sex couldn’t duplicate for the ardent Liberal Conservative hater.—Alaphiah

When Bush was being lied on the Republican Party was being lied on. When Bush was being called stupid the Republican Party was being called stupid, When Bush was being made radioactive the entire Republican Party was being made radioactive.

By attacking President Bush so effectively Democrats damaged all Republicans and in this case Republicans were too daft to realize that!

Secondly Democrats gained from their anti-Bush, anti-Republican campaign by winning the majority in both the House and the Congress how did they do it?

While Republicans were running away from George Bush and Conservativism Democrats where running Conservative Democrats in Conservative States and Districts against Republicans who were trying to act more like Liberal Democrats. Triangulation, taking the others positions or arguments as your own to negate your opponent’s strengths and appeal against you and It worked beautifully!

Now seeing the overall negativity that Democrats had created against the Republican brand and the losses in both the House and the Senate by Democrat Triangulation RINO Republicans saw it as their opportunity to establish themselves as the avant guard in Republican leadership and propped up John McCain to win the Republican nomination for the presidency and that worked too.

That said this is why Stuart Rothenberg’s assessment, that a McCain win is bad for Republicans is wrong.

John McCain has fought in the past to disassociate himself from the Conservative base of the Republican Party. Only now does he realize that he needs the backing of this very powerful coalition if he hopes to win in November. But McCain makes it easy for Conservatives to disassociate themselves from many of McCain less favorable positions.

What Rothenberg has interpreted as Conservatives rallying behind Sen. McCain in some loyal fashion to defeat Sen. Obama is not what Mr. Rothenberg thinks it is.

Conservatives are aware and understand all to well what a McCain Presidency would mean but too, Conservatives agree with Sen. Clinton’s assessment that Barack Obama is not ready to be President.

Therefore Conservatives reluctantly support John McCain and will hold President John McCain at arms length and anything that this one term President does will be chalked up as what was expected from a RINO and easily blamed on Democrats who if not for them voting for McCain in the early primaries he would not have received the Republican nomination and would not be President.

John McCain actually will give Conservatives the ability to denounce a President McCain’s Liberal social agenda while supporting McCain’s views on the war and Supreme Court nominations.

Conservatives will have the ability to say, “I told you so,” when McCain courts his Liberal allies. As well Conservatives will be able to utter, “I’m so glad it’s not Obama!” when McCain does the right thing concerning the war and the Supreme Court.

A McCain win contrary to Rothenberg’s assessment is actually a win, win for Conservatives. Conservatives get to blame McCain on the Democrats when appropriate and enjoy the benefit of some Conservative principles regarding the war and judges.

As for the conflict within the Republican Party if McCain should fail miserably at being President Conservatives would be more than happy to put up a true Conservative in 2012 with the knowledge that if Hillary Clinton could run with all of her baggage then certainly Newt Gingrich should not be afraid to man up and run on the principles that gave Conservatives victories in 1994.

Actually Conservatives should be looking ahead now and planning for the 2012 elections because the change that this country needs is the same change that European politics are experiencing. European politics have gotten more Conservative not less in recent elections.

The change that we need is oppose from a Liberal and Democrat controlled Congress, the change that America needs is change from wanna be proud Liberal Conservative Republicans, or Compassionate Conservative Republicans or from just plain RINOs.

The change that America needs will reverse recent judicial activism and overreaching, the change we need, will reverse big government and overspending, the change we need will stop al Qaeda and prevent future threats against America. The change we need will protect our boarders, language and culture.

All changes that come with true Conservatism not Liberalism.

When parents objected to the lessons about homosexuality that their second graders were receiving the parents were told on every level up to the courts that homosexuality is the law and parents need not be informed what the state schools teach it’s children regarding homosexuality. Just like scientists predicted years ago, California has fallen off into the Pacific Ocean due to the San Andreas Fault of homosexuality and a Court that fancies itself as God.

You may want to give credit where credit is due to Al Gore and his global warming campaign the next time you fill your car with gasoline, because there is a direct connection between Global Warming and four dollar a gallon gas.

It is shocking, but true, to learn that the entire Global Warming frenzy is based on the environmentalist’s attack on fossil fuels, particularly gasoline. All this big time science, international meetings, thick research papers, dire threats for the future; all of it, comes down to their claim that the carbon dioxide in the exhaust from your car and in the smoke stacks from our power plants is destroying the climate of planet Earth. What an amazing fraud; what a scam.

The future of our civilization lies in the balance.

That’s the battle cry of the High Priest of Global Warming Al Gore and his fellow, agenda driven disciples as they predict a calamitous outcome from anthropogenic global warming. According to Mr. Gore the polar ice caps will collapse and melt and sea levels will rise 20 feet inundating the coastal cities making 100 million of us refugees. Vice President Gore tells us numerous Pacific islands will be totally submerged and uninhabitable.

He tells us global warming will disrupt the circulation of the ocean waters, dramatically changing climates, throwing the world food supply into chaos. He tells us global warming will turn hurricanes into super storms, produce droughts, wipe out the polar bears and result in bleaching of coral reefs. He tells us tropical diseases will spread to mid latitudes and heat waves will kill tens of thousands. He preaches to us that we must change our lives and eliminate fossil fuels or face the dire consequences. The future of our civilization is in the balance.

With a preacher’s zeal, Mr. Gore sets out to strike terror into us and our children and make us feel we are all complicit in the potential demise of the planet.
Here is my rebuttal.

There is no significant man made global warming. There has not been any in the past, there is none now and there is no reason to fear any in the future. The climate of Earth is changing. It has always changed. But mankind’s activities have not overwhelmed or significantly modified the natural forces.

Through all history, Earth has shifted between two basic climate regimes: ice ages and what paleoclimatologists call “Interglacial periods”. For the past 10 thousand years the Earth has been in an interglacial period. That might well be called nature’s global warming because what happens during an interglacial period is the Earth warms up, the glaciers melt and life flourishes. Clearly from our point of view, an interglacial period is greatly preferred to the deadly rigors of an ice age.

Mr. Gore and his crowd would have us believe that the activities of man have overwhelmed nature during this interglacial period and are producing an unprecedented, out of control warming.

Well, it is simply not happening. Worldwide there was a significant natural warming trend in the 1980’s and 1990’s as a Solar cycle peaked with lots of sunspots and solar flares. That ended in 1998 and now the Sun has gone quiet with fewer and fewer Sun spots, and the global temperatures have gone into decline. Earth has cooled for almost ten straight years. So, I ask Al Gore, where’s the global warming?

The cooling trend is so strong that recently the head of the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change had to acknowledge it. He speculated that nature has temporarily overwhelmed mankind’s warming and it may be ten years or so before the warming returns. Oh, really. We are supposed to be in a panic about man-made global warming and the whole thing takes a ten year break because of the lack of Sun spots. If this weren’t so serious, it would be laughable.

Now allow me to talk a little about the science behind the global warming frenzy. I have dug through thousands of pages of research papers, including the voluminous documents published by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

I have worked my way through complicated math and complex theories. Here’s the bottom line: the entire global warming scientific case is based on the increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere from the use of fossil fuels. They don’t have any other issue. Carbon Dioxide, that’s it.

Hello Al Gore; Hello UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Your science is flawed; your hypothesis is wrong; your data is manipulated. And, may I add, your scare tactics are deplorable. The Earth does not have a fever. Carbon dioxide does not cause significant global warming.

The focus on atmospheric carbon dioxide grew out a study by Roger Revelle who was an esteemed scientist at the Scripps Oceanographic Institute. He took his research with him when he moved to Harvard and allowed his students to help him process the data for his paper. One of those students was Al Gore. That is where Gore got caught up in this global warming frenzy.

Revelle’s paper linked the increases in carbon dioxide, CO2, in the atmosphere with warming. It labeled CO2 as a greenhouse gas.

Charles Keeling, another researcher at the Scripps Oceanographic Institute, set up a system to make continuous CO2 measurements. His graph of these increases has now become known as the Keeling Curve. When Charles Keeling died in 2005, his son David, also at Scripps, took over the measurements. Here is what the Keeling curve shows: an increase in CO2 from 315 parts per million in 1958 to 385 parts per million today, an increase of 70 parts per million or about 20 percent.

All the computer models, all of the other findings, all of the other angles of study, all come back to and are based on CO2 as a significant greenhouse gas. It is not.

Here is the deal about CO2, carbon dioxide. It is a natural component of our atmosphere. It has been there since time began. It is absorbed and emitted by the oceans. It is used by every living plant to trigger photosynthesis. Nothing would be green without it. And we humans; we create it. Every time we breathe out, we emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. It is not a pollutant. It is not smog. It is a naturally occurring invisible gas.

Let me illustrate. I estimate that this square in front of my face contains 100,000 molecules of atmosphere. Of those 100,000 only 38 are CO2; 38 out of a hundred thousand. That makes it a trace component. Let me ask a key question: how can this tiny trace upset the entire balance of the climate of Earth? It can’t. That’s all there is to it; it can’t.

The UN IPCC has attracted billions of dollars for the research to try to make the case that CO2 is the culprit of run-away, man-made global warming. The scientists have come up with very complex creative theories and done elaborate calculations and run computer models they say prove those theories.

They present us with a concept they call radiative forcing. The research organizations and scientists who are making a career out of this theory, keep cranking out the research papers. Then the IPCC puts on big conferences at exotic places, such as the recent conference in Bali. The scientists endorse each other’s papers, they are summarized and voted on, and viola, we are told global warming is going to kill us all unless we stop burning fossil fuels.

May I stop here for a few historical notes? First, the internal combustion engine and gasoline were awful polluters when they were first invented. And, both gasoline and automobile engines continued to leave a layer of smog behind right up through the 1960’s. Then science and engineering came to the environmental rescue. Better exhaust and ignition systems, catalytic converters, fuel injectors, better engineering throughout the engine and reformulated gasoline have all contributed to a huge reduction in the exhaust emissions from today’s cars. Their goal then was to only exhaust carbon dioxide and water vapor, two gases widely accepted as natural and totally harmless.

Anyone old enough to remember the pall of smog that used to hang over all our cities knows how much improvement there has been. So the environmentalists, in their battle against fossil fuels and automobiles had a very good point forty years ago, but now they have to focus almost entirely on the once harmless carbon dioxide. And, that is the rub. Carbon dioxide is not an environmental problem; they just want you now to think it is.

Numerous independent research projects have been done about the greenhouse impact from increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide. These studies have proven to my total satisfaction that CO2 is not creating a major greenhouse effect and is not causing an increase in temperatures. By the way, before his death, Roger Revelle coauthored a paper cautioning that CO2 and its greenhouse effect did not warrant extreme countermeasures.

So now it has come down to an intense campaign, orchestrated by environmentalists claiming that the burning of fossil fuels dooms the planet to run-away global warming. Ladies and Gentlemen, that is a myth.

So how has the entire global warming frenzy with all its predictions of dire consequences, become so widely believed, accepted and regarded as a real threat to planet Earth? That is the most amazing part of the story.

To start with global warming has the backing of the United Nations, a major world force. Second, it has the backing of a former Vice President and very popular political figure. Third it has the endorsement of Hollywood, and that’s enough for millions. And, fourth, the environmentalists love global warming. It is their tool to combat fossil fuels.

So with the environmentalists, the UN, Gore and Hollywood touting Global Warming and predictions of doom and gloom, the media has scrambled with excitement to climb aboard. After all the media loves a crisis. From YK2 to killer bees the media just loves to tell us our lives are threatened. And the media is biased toward liberal, so it’s pre-programmed to support Al Gore and UN. CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The LA Times, The Washington Post, the Associated Press and here in San Diego The Union Tribune are all constantly promoting the global warming crisis.

So who is going to go against all of that power? Not the politicians. So now the President of the United States, just about every Governor, most Senators and most Congress people, both of the major current candidates for President, most other elected officials on all levels of government are all riding the Al Gore Global Warming express. That is one crowded bus.

I suspect you haven’t heard it because the mass media did not report it, but I am not alone on the no man-made warming side of this issue. On May 20th, a list of the names of over thirty-one thousand scientists who refute global warming was released.

Thirty-one thousand of which 9,000 are Ph.ds. Think about that. Thirty-one thousand. That dwarfs the supposed 2,500 scientists on the UN panel. In the past year, five hundred of scientists have issued public statements challenging global warming. A few more join the chorus every week. There are about 100 defectors from the UN IPCC. There was an International Conference of Climate Change Skeptics in New York in March of this year. One hundred of us gave presentations. Attendance was limited to six hundred people. Every seat was taken. There are a half dozen excellent internet sites that debunk global warming.

And, thank goodness for KUSI and Michael McKinnon, its owner. He allows me to post my comments on global warming on the website KUSI.com. Following the publicity of my position form Fox News, Glen Beck on CNN, Rush Limbaugh and a host of other interviews, thousands of people come to the website and read my comments. I get hundreds of supportive emails from them. No I am not alone and the debate is not over.

In my remarks in New York I speculated that perhaps we should sue Al Gore for fraud because of his carbon credits trading scheme. That remark has caused a stir in the fringe media and on the internet. The concept is that if the media won’t give us a hearing and the other side will not debate us, perhaps we could use a Court of law to present our papers and our research and if the Judge is unbiased and understands science, we win. The media couldn’t ignore that. That idea has become the basis for legal research by notable attorneys and discussion among global warming debunkers, but it’s a long way from the Court room.

I am very serious about this issue. I think stamping out the global warming scam is vital to saving our wonderful way of life.

The battle against fossil fuels has controlled policy in this country for decades. It was the environmentalist’s prime force in blocking any drilling for oil in this country and the blocking the building of any new refineries, as well.

So now the shortage they created has sent gasoline prices soaring. And, it has lead to the folly of ethanol, which is also partly behind the fuel price increases; that and our restricted oil policy. The ethanol folly is also creating a food crisis throughput the world – it is behind the food price rises for all the grains, for cereals, bread, everything that relies on corn or soy or wheat, including animals that are fed corn, most processed foods that use corn oil or soybean oil or corn syrup. Food shortages or high costs have led to food riots in some third world countries and made the cost of eating out or at home budget busting for many.

So now the global warming myth actually has lead to the chaos we are now enduring with energy and food prices. We pay for it every time we fill our gas tanks. Not only is it running up gasoline prices, it has changed government policy impacting our taxes, our utility bills and the entire focus of government funding. And, now the Congress is considering a cap and trade carbon credits policy.

We the citizens will pay for that, too. It all ends up in our taxes and the price of goods and services.

So the Global warming frenzy is, indeed, threatening our civilization. Not because global warming is real; it is not. But because of the all the horrible side effects of the global warming scam.

I love this civilization. I want to do my part to protect it.
If Al Gore and his global warming scare dictates the future policy of our governments, the current economic downturn could indeed become a recession, drift into a depression and our modern civilization could fall into an abyss. And it would largely be a direct result of the global warming frenzy.

My mission, in what is left of a long and exciting lifetime, is to stamp out this Global Warming silliness and let all of us get on with enjoying our lives and loving our planet, Earth.

Supremes gives al Qaeda Constitutional Right to Destroy America

Five Justices on the United States Supreme Court just created a Constitutional right for al Qaeda to wage war against the United States of America. In essence Justices Anthony Kennedy, John Paul Stevens, David H. Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen G. Breyer ruled that sworn enemy combatants who are captured on the battle field and actively engaged in war against the United States are protected by the Constitution of the United States to do so. This ruling is analogous to saying that AIDS has the constitutional right to ravage a homosexual’s body and further the AIDS virus must be given adequate nourishment to conduct its goal of killing that body.

Of course Liberal Democrats hail the courts decision as a slap against President Bush and the war in Iraq.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) praised the Court for “uphold[ing] the constitution of the United States” and reiterated her desire to see Gitmo shut down.

If nothing else this ruling and Activist judges of the U.S. Supreme Court and the California Supreme Court are the strongest and only argument for voting for Sen. John McCain over any Democrat nominee.

To which I will hold my nose and vote.

NAFTA’s Revenge

California Tomato Farmers President Ed Beckman said that at this time of year almost all tomatoes sold in the United States come from either Mexico or Florida.

Mexico supplies about one-third of all tomatoes consumed in the U.S. in the winter months and Florida is the No. 1 producer, with $600 million in sales annually.

California is the second-largest producer, with $400 million in sales annually. – CARLA K. JOHNSON, Associated Press Writer

Florida and California have been cleared by the FDA but you wouldn’t hear who the FDA suspects as the originator of Salmonella laced tomatoes any time soon because that would reflect badly on NAFTA.

You know the North American Free Trade Agreement signed into law by President Bill Clinton that allows borderless free trade with Mexico and Canada. Oh by the way Canada has been cleared too.

Humm… No Mexico? Well not yet always. Speaking of Mexico what does this salmonella outbreak and Mexico have in common?

It’s called Montezuma’s Revenge, Gringo Gallop, the Aztec Two-step or traveler’s diarrhea caused by a bacterium strain present in food and water, to which Mexicans are normally immune, but that causes disease in foreigners.

Tourists that eat and drink the water south of the border in Mexico know that they are susceptible to a very nasty tummy ache, diarrhea, and fever for at least 12 to 72 hours for 4 to 7 days.

Salmonella live in the intestinal tracts of humans and other animals, including birds. Salmonella are usually transmitted to humans by eating foods contaminated with animal feces.

Contaminated foods usually look and smell normal. Contaminated foods are often of animal origin, such as beef, poultry, milk, or eggs, but any food, including vegetables, may become contaminated. Thorough cooking kills Salmonella.

Food may also become contaminated by the hands of an infected food handler who did not wash hands with soap after using the bathroom.

What’s interesting is that U.S. citizens who are affected by this tomatoe born salmonella infection are afflicted with diarrhea, fever, and 12 to 72 hours of abdominal cramps.

Salmonellosis is an infection with bacteria called Salmonella. Most persons infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after infection. The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and most persons recover without treatment.

However, in some persons, the diarrhea may be so severe that the patient needs to be hospitalized. In these patients, the Salmonella infection may spread from the intestines to the blood stream, and then to other body sites and can cause death unless the person is treated promptly with antibiotics.

As a result of NAFTA one no longer has to cross the southern border to be infected with traveler’s diarrhea because goods and services cross the border so freely between the two countries we now have the benefit of staying right at home and traveling back and forth to our toilets or our hospitals after we consume NAFTA related foods. Isn’t free trade great!

Speaking of free trade, a very large Mexican business that ships tomatoes to the United States and Canada is losing millions of dollars in tomato sells, Art Salinas owner of the tomato import company Bonanza 2001 has 500 tons of tomatoes sitting in his warehouse on Anaya Road near the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge in McAllen, Texas that he can’t sell.

Bonanza is one of the largest Roma tomato importers in Texas. The company, owned by Salinas, has about 150 acres of tomatoes in the Mexican state of Jalisco and imports about a 25 million pounds of tomatoes a year.

Mexican distributors also send watermelon and avocados across the border I’d be suspicious of these NAFTA items too if I were you.

Every time I bite into a luscious red tomato I'll think of Bill and Hillary! Bon Appétit!
