The President has no Clothes

Hans Christian Anderson’s remarkable 1837 the tale of swindlers coming into town to take advantage of people’s hubris and conformity is being played out in the Obama administration in this the 21st century.

The swindlers, tailors, thought if they could spin an elaborate ruse about fine clothing and exclusiveness (only the very enlighten would be able to see the clothing) they could make millions so the story goes.

They would have gotten clean away with the scam too without one person coming out of their politically correct imposed silence had it not been for a mere child a little boy who was not taken in by all the pretense and said it like he saw it.

“The Emperor has on no clothes!” The child proclaimed and the towns people were finally free to say what they all knew but were afraid to say from fear of appearing nonconformist and ignorant. Indeed the Emperor was parading before them in his underwear and expected them to believe that he had on clothes.

President Barack Hussein Obama recently visited Dobson High School in Mesa Arizona to tout his Economic Stimulus bill which he had just signed into law. The President and his advisors thought it wise for him to go on tour to sell the new law to the American people. (see story)

Daudfar thinks Obama’s plan is backward and deals with the “less important stuff” first. “Bailing out businesses” and “providing better regulatory systems for giving out money to businesses” should have been first, he said.

“If businesses can’t afford to hire people, then people won’t be able to work and pay off their mortgages,” he said. “It’s kind of like putting money into a funnel.”

Ahh… the fresh insight of children when grown-ups are using such arguments like the President made before his loyal Democrat partisans, "So then you get the argument, well, this is not a stimulus bill, this is a spending bill. You see President Obama readily admits "the whole point" of his "stimulus" bill is government SPENDING for Democrat purposes which many of us believe is partisan and wasteful spending! (see video)



Finally the students of Dobson High wondered why they where being used as political staging when what the President was speaking about had absolutely nothing to do with them.

The students also questioned why Obama chose their school for his speech since he wasn’t talking about education and wondered how much money the district spent on beautifying the campus while district positions and services are being cut.

District officials noted this week that the landscaping project completed over the weekend at Dobson was already in the works and was just expedited by the president’s visit. Funding came from voter-approved bonds.-- Hayley Ringle

Get used to it kids because to this administration it seems that the whole world is a stage from which to parade naked partisanship, naked Democrat propaganda and $3.27Trillion dollar Democrat spending bills like invisible suits of clothes for the President to wear before the American people and before you at Dobson High school.

And you kids saw right though it and said, “This bill promotes the naked Democrat agenda!”

That’s right kids this President has no clothes other than naked partisanship!

Obama Symbolism 101

It’s all about symbolism and appearances with President Barack Hussein Obama. Our new President is obsessed with symbols and symbolism more than any other president in recent history. He is always invoking the images and symbolism of Abraham Lincoln or John F. Kennedy.

He consistently makes his very own symbols and signs, i.e. the “O” with red, white and blue strips, the light blue placard complete with the new office never seen before, “the office of the President-elect” and don’t forget that new spiffy Obama powder blue seal complete with eagle, a mock of the presidential seal. In addition you must remember that Obama used the symbolism of Corinthian/Doric/Ionic columns complete with the alter of Zeus as a backdrop for his victory speech the night he won the Presidential election. These were meant to convey timeless, unlimited power and ruler ship.

Obama's campaign produced a full-on neoclassical temple facade: four imposing Doric columns and 10 sizable pilasters, all connected by a frieze and arranged in a gently curving arc.

From the center of this colonnaded contraption extended a long peninsular walkway, lined with blue carpeting and capped by a circular stage and wedding-cake steps.

Classicism offers an almost bottomless pool of symbolism, and the campaign dipped into it with a number of goals. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that President Obama with a very symbolical flair had to be sworn in with his hand on the exact Bible that President Abraham Lincoln was sworn into the Presidency on.

That said, just why did the President sign the Demulus Stimulus bill into law in Denver, Colorado rather than the East Room in the White House? Answer: Symbolism. Everything is staged in cryptic symbolic terms with the Obama administration it’s like he is attempting to draw on other worldly powers.

Obama aides thought signing the $3.27Trillion dollar Stimulus bill into law in a Denver Colorado science museum would send a more appropriate subliminal message to the American people rather than signing the bill at the White House, regardless of the giant carbon footprint and the impact on the environment that such a trip actually made.

If nothing else the Obama administration is going to bring childhood inquisitiveness back to the American people or at least it should because you need to be asking, “Mommy why are they doing that,” every time this administration stages an event. There is so much implicit cryptic meaning embedded in everything that this group does and if you blink you could miss something very important, that is, if you are lulled to sleep by surface appearances which are continually posed by the Obama administration.

One could miss something like a fundamental change to our Constitution or even a change in the status of our nation’s sovereignty if we don’t understand the symbolism being used at any given time by President Obama and his administration regardless of what he or they say.

There is a whole underworld of subterfuge with the Obamacans. More often mixing Orwellian message control with a kind of “never let a serious crisis go to waste” à la the hyper Democrat partisan and Obama strong arm chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel.

The Obama administration believes that they can “kind of” slip things in on the American people while we’re preoccupied with President Obama’s verbal slight-of-hand.

Therefore being the illusionists that the Obamacans are the American people should not and can not believe anything that we’re seeing and/or hearing from the Obama administration. No we must pay strict attention to what is actually going on in the background behind the scenes.

Why? Because the Obama administration’s every intention and meaning is duplicitous and everything that Obama says is clouded in some sort of double entendre. Liberals call this nuanced but most of us call this deception.

For example Obama’s biggest prize to date the Economic Stimulus package touted by Obama to be the only way and the only thing able to save a dieing American economy is a grand deception.

A closer examination by almost every non partisan source including the non partisan Congressional Budget Office revealed that the main function of the Demulus Stimulus package, that is now law, will not stimulate the economy as promised by the Democrats.

What it will do, in fact, is funnel tax payer dollars to Democrat interest and concerns which Democrats have been attempting to fund for the last 30 to 40 years. Never let a good crisis go to waste eh Emanuel?

That and use plenty of ubiquitous and furtive symbols that are meant to convey subliminal messages. All to the end of affecting fundamental change to the political psyche of Americans as well as affect fundamental change to the Constitution of the United States of America.

In President Obama’s Orwellian world words are not what they seem either. Notice how the President attempts to wax eloquent about how everyone, yes everyone in Washington D.C. and the world; Democrats and Republicans, supports his $3.27Trillion dollar Demulus Stimulus bill. (see video)



The truth, there is not any real support for what the Democrats have done outside of their own little circle. The stock markets have literally convulsed at the signing of this fraudulent stimulus effort. There is no Republican support for Obama’s stimulus law and companies all across America are still laying off employees and closing their doors. (see video)



Sometimes Mr. Obama we say what our unconscious really means, and perhaps you did. Maybe you are right, that is what you and your Democrat allies have done by signing your Demulus Stimulus bill into law really marks… the Beginning of the End!

Global Warming Is A Political Tool

[Harrison]Schmitt resigned after the group[the Planetary Society] blamed global warming on human activity. In his resignation letter, the 74-year-old geologist argued that the "global warming scare is being used as a political tool to increase government control over American lives, incomes and decision making."

He was an Astronaut who walked on the moon, a former U.S. Senator who served New Mexico and he is a working 74-year-old geologist who has resigned his membership from The Planetary Society, a nonprofit dedicated to space exploration because of the Society’s politically correct stance on Anthropogenic Global Warming. You see Harrison Schmitt is a man of many, many accomplishments yet his most notable to date may very well be his refusal to go along with the politically correct views of Global warming. When the Planetary Society announced that their official stance was a support for the theory of man-made global warming Dr. Schmitt resigned his membership.

Former Sen. Schmitt says that Global warming is a political tool with which government is attempting to exert control over people. Schmitt has also stated that he has seen too many of his colleagues lose grant funding when they haven’t gone along with the so-called political consensus that we’re in a human-caused global warming."

According to Boston Herald.com Schmitt said historical documents indicate average temperatures have risen by 1 degree per century since around 1400 A.D., and the rise in carbon dioxide is because of the temperature rise.

Schmitt also said geological evidence indicates changes in sea level have been going on for thousands of years. He said smaller changes are related to changes in the elevation of land masses — for example, the Great Lakes are rising because the earth’s crust is rebounding from being depressed by glaciers.

Schmitt has a science degree from the California Institute of Technology. He also studied geology at the University of Oslo in Norway and took a doctorate in geology from Harvard University in 1964.

In 1972, he was one of the last men to walk on the moon as part of the Apollo 17 mission.

Obama Signs Demulus Stimulus Today

A Pyrrhic victory is a victory with devastating cost to the victor. Unfortunately President Obama and his Party’s $3.27Trillion dollar Demulus Stimulus bill victory will have a devastating cost to this Nation as well when he signs the Demulus bill into law today in Denver Colorado.

Demulus Stimulus so called because this bill will do more to stimulate the Democrats' hold and lust for political power, by fulfilling a laundry list of Democrat special Pork projects, than it will stimulate the American economy.(see story)

Just like taxpayers who will inevitably pay for Nadya Suleman, the Octopulets mom's 14 kids that she's raising on welfare, so too the American people will be stuck with payment of this bill until Nadya's children's children are old enough to pay for it. No doubt they and the rest of the American people will still owe for it!

But it is President Obama’s credibility that should be immediately and irreparably damaged because he promised an era of hope and change in Washington D.C. only to force his first major piece of legislation through by the same business as usual Democrat politics

Not that Democrats care, but Obama lied. He broke at least 7 of promises he made for a more ethical and open government. Promises that helped get him elected he broke at the very first opportunity to get his Demulus bill passed and signed today. (see video)

2. Make it "Impossible" for Congressmen to slip in Pork Barrel Projects
3. Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public (Republicans shut out)

6. You'll know what's in it (Republican Senators didn’t know)
7. We will put every pork barrel project online

According to the Union Tribune, [a]nother unforgivable flaw is how the bill makes huge changes on major national policies without any significant debate. One provision guts the 1996 welfare reform law, which reduced caseloads by 70 percent. Instead, individuals will again be entitled to unlimited lifetime benefits without work requirements and, amazingly, states will have financial incentives to increase caseloads.

Other provisions appear to sharply increase the federal government's role in health care by establishing a national database of Americans' medical records and by monitoring every hospital's treatment standards on cost-containment grounds.

Defenders of the health provisions say these descriptions are inaccurate. But that brings us to the bill's final unforgivable flaw: Despite its importance and huge costs, it was enacted in such haste that no one has a firm handle on its contents and their consequences.

Yes and even Republican John Boehner says that no one has even read the thousands of pages which it would take for someone to fully know or understand the consequences that Democrats have unleashed on our nation through this bill. (see video)



But Democrat Senator Charles “Chucky” Schumer freely contradicts President Obama and admits that there is Pork in this bill but says so what? What are you going to do about it we won the election, in so many words. Sen. Schumer is convinced that you, the American people don’t even care about the cost that this bill will have on our nation. $3.27Trillion dollar Demulus Package

Democrats vote to spent your money on their projects

Oh you thought it was $787 billion dollars? Do you believe everything that a Democrat tells you?

According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office the $787 billion dollar Demulus Package (so named because no Republicans voted for it) will cost your children and your children’s children a cool $3.27Trillion dollars according to Newsmax.com that stems from the $744 billion it will take to pay for the additional debt the legislation will create, and $2.527 trillion in increased spending from the new and expanded programs the bill will spawn over the next decade. By the way I did not misspeak no Republicans voted for it. If you are thinking of Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe both of Maine and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania by their own actions they have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are not Republicans. Further all three of them should be barred from any Republican caucus and they should be censured until they can be defeated in the next election.

Collins, Snowe and Specter have constantly and continually been a liability to the Republican Party and frankly this Party can no longer afford Mavericks when the Democrats continue to control their tightly knit Party.

And you can bet that every Democrat no vote against the Demulus Package was approved by Nancy Pelosi so that Blue Dog Democrats could go home and say that they voted against the Demulus Package. It’s all Democrat illusion.

What is not an illusion is that the bill now spans more than 1,000 pages according to Newsmax.com and has all of the Democrat pet projects that are objectionable to fiscal Conservatives because these projects are meant to enhance and strengthen Democrat power and control over government.

• The plan has more than $3 billion in “neighborhood stabilization” and Community Development Block Grant funding, much of which may go to benefit ACORN, a low-income housing and voter registration “community” organization that is under federal investigation for its suspicious voter registration practices.
• $1.3 billion to bailout AMTRAK, the perennial money-loser railroad.
• $1 billion for educational programs, including courses on sexually transmitted diseases.
• $30 million for restoration of wetlands to be spent in the San Francisco Bay Area – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s district. The money will go in part to protect the endangered salt marsh harvest mouse.
• $200 million for a low-pollution, coal-fired power plant in President Barack Obama’s home state of Illinois.
• $45 million for ATV four-wheeler trails, and government office renovations, according to RNC Chairman Michael Steele.
• $200 million to provide computers to community colleges.
• $50 million for the National Endowment of the Arts.
• Over $650 million in coupons to help consumers buy digital TV converter-box coupons.
• A reported $300 million for hybrid vehicles and electric-powered cars. According to the Washington Times, this item will include buying golf carts for federal workers.

Democrats own this disaster they will not be able to lay any of this on Republicans, oh they will attempt to but Republicans did just enough to remove all doubt that Democrats wrote this bill themselves, passed it through a Democrat controlled Congress and a Democrat President will sign it into law when he comes back from holiday in a day or two.

And you thought that there was an urgency to Congress passing this bill!

An Electronic Run On United States Banks

Someone attempted to end the world economic system as we know it according to Democrat Representative Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania. According to Kanjorski $550 Billion Disappeared in an "Electronic Run On the Banks." (see story)

At 2 minutes, 20 seconds into this C-Span video clip, Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania explains that on September 15, 2008 how the Federal Reserve told Congress members about a "tremendous draw-down of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $550 billion dollars." According to Kanjorski, this electronic transfer occurred over the period of an hour or two.(see video)

"On Thursday Sept 15, 2008 at roughly 11 AM The Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous draw down of money market accounts in the USA to the tune of $550 Billion dollars in a matter of an hour or two.

Money was being removed electronically.

The treasury tried to help with $150 Billion.

But could not stem the tide.

It was an electronic run on the banks

The treasury intervened but had they not closed down the accounts they estimated that by 2 PM that afternoon. Within 3 hours. $5.5 Trillion would have been withdrawn and collapsed and within 24 hours the world economy."

Up until now we have be lead to believe that it was the collapse of the housing credit market that was the cause of the world-wide economic crisis.

If Rep. Kanjorski, a Democrat, allegations are true why doesn’t President Obama tell the American people the truth about how we got into this mess instead of blaming the Bush administration and Republicans for the economic crisis?

And finally if Rep. Kanjorski’s allegations are true then giving more money to banks under a Democrat stimulus package is not the answer if someone is able to electronically withdraw billions to trillions of dollars virtually undetected and apparently immune from capture.

What’s Hope got to do with it?

Now that the White House and Democrats in Congress have decided the $790Billion dollar Demulus Package.(That's the Democrat only Stimulus package)Are you one of the millions that voted for hope and change, but you are now realizing that after Barack got your vote he quickly put hope and change on the shelf?

I mean what’s up with all the doom and gloom regarding the economy that Barack used to get the Demulus package passed? It’s like if we don’t do what he wants and if we didn't do it right now the world is going to end. That’s not how Ronald Reagan did it and that’s not how Franklin Roosevelt did it either. What Obama is doing is creating a climate of fear, one that self-reliance and self-sustainability are all but abandoned and the willingness to welcome and submit to the control of big government via the introduction of a $827Billion dollar stimulus bill as guaranteed by a Democrat controlled Congress and a few or three Republicans in name only or RINOs (see video)

Obama is betraying this country! He’s playing on our fears. He’s taking America on an ill-conceived Stimulus bill spending panic that is dangerous to America’s fiscal well-being and the fiscal well-being of our children and our children’s children.

The fact is Democrats are going to rush this so-called Stimulus bill through and it will be signed by President Obama by weeks end. But it will not save one job. It will not restore one job. Even if Obama says that Caterpillar will rescind the 22,000 layoffs if the Demulus package is signed. What it will do is increase public dependency on government and in so doing freedom will be lost because we will depend on government for everything and government will make rules as to who gets what and by what criteria goods and services are distributed.

So far Democrats have played games with this so-called fiscal crisis. They have added billions of dollars of superfluous spending to a bill that is supposed to be crucial to the survival of the U.S. economy.

They have engaged in fear mongering and attempts to wrongfully discredit opponents. And last they have used the Office President of the United States to scare the American people into compliance with big government control in the initial form of a Stimulus carrot by which our children and their children will get the very expensive and painful stick.

That's right. The candidate of "Hope and Change" has decided to be a president who espouses "Fear and Loathing." Fear of financial Armageddon unless we do as we are told and blindly give in to his $900 billion panic panacea for the economy and loathing of the opposition -- an opposition Obama unfairly portrays as opposing him out of spite and because a popular talk radio host is telling them what to do. — Rick Moran

Look Democrats don’t have a clue of what they are doing just as no one does. What we need to know is this, attempting to scare people into compliance whether the concern is Global warming or the World economic meltdown is wrong. We need honest discussion concerning what we don’t know combined with truth about what we do know.

Finally above it all we need Americans who will put America first if America is going to survive this global economic realignment. If those among us continue to play partisan politics while we are at crisis, even if it is the President and even if he pretends like he isn’t, we will most certainly face the catastrophe that this President is predicting no matter what course of action we pursue.

The truth should be dawning on all of us just about now that Democrats, Republicans, economists, Wall Street wizards, and even the high priests of monetary policy at the Federal Reserve have no idea how bad things are going to get or whether anything Congress does can improve the situation -- much less stave off disaster. --Rick Moran

Where was the Republican Response?

Every time President George W. Bush gave a speech whether it was the State of the Union Address or his weekly address to the nation Democrats always had their equal time response. So where was the Republican response to President Obama’s first primetime News conference and his Elkhart, Indiana pre- News conference warm-up?

President Obama’s mischaracterization of Republican ideology and political positions hang over the nation Monday evening like noxious greenhouse gases and CO2 emissions yet in another example of not really for primetime there was not an equal time Republican response.

What is up with Republicans? Don’t they understand that this was exactly the tactic employed by Democrat against President Bush? Democrats responded to everything that President Bush said and that was one of the tactics that got Democrats into White House. Is there not a Republican that understands politics?

There were plenty of things that Republicans could have rebutted because Obama got a lot of things wrong. Yet they allow Obama lies and continual falsifications of Republican positions to convict them in the court of American public opinion. Obama spoke from both sides of his mouth and there was no Republican there to bring correction to the neophyte President.

President Barack Obama had it both ways Monday when he promoted his stimulus plan in Indiana. He bragged about getting Congress to produce a package with no pork, yet boasted it will do good things for a Hoosier highway and a downtown overpass, just the kind of local projects lawmakers lard into big spending bills.—Calvin Woodward

Woodward shows that Obama’s claims of no earmarks in the stimulus bill is preposterous, that Obama’s claim that Daschle and Killefer appointments where simply mistakes is ridiculous but instead it was a pre-calculated assumption that he could muscle them through like he did Timothy Geithner.

And finally Woodward reports that Obama’s claim that his stimulus bill would produce 3 million to 4 million jobs over the next two years is unverifiable at best.

Next Jay Cost examines the President’s Primetime News conference to find it chuck full of false arguments to make Republicans look bad and he and Democrats look good. Cost says that Obama used falsifications and Straw Man arguments which are arguments that one attributes to one’s opponent, though the opponent never argued the position. (see transcript)

Time and again, I noted that the President engaged in a rhetorical maneuver commonly called "attacking a straw man." That's what you do when you mischaracterize your opponent's position, and you refute the mischaracterization rather than what your opponent really thinks.—Jay Cost

The position or idea usual makes your opponent look bad and when you argue to defeat the idea you likewise defeat your opponent. It’s called building a Straw Man so you can knock it down.(see story)

Surely there is a Republican somewhere who is versed in the methodology of debate who could have refuted the debate team tricks that Obama used before the American people.

Cost writes that Obama argued that Republicans’ position is that “tax cuts alone” will solve America’s financial crisis. But no Republican is arguing that! “Straw Man.”

Cost also shows that Obama argued that Republicans argue that the government should not intervene. Another “Straw Man.” The first Stimulus package was under President Bush.

Then the President mis-represented Republicans by saying they believe that nothing should be done. Another Straw Man argument.

Finally Cost brings to our attention that President Obama used ad hominem attacks against Republicans. Simple name calling rather than debate ideas.

With no Republican response the very next day the Senate Democrats with three Republican defectors approved President Obama’s $837Billion dollar pork laden “No Stimulus bill but a very big Christmas tree” hung with all of the goodies that Democrats have wanted for the last 20 years.

Look, there are two fundamental things Republicans must learn if they are ever going to gain power again, one, they must learn how to hold their caucus like Democrats did for eight years and two, they must learn the art and science of politics like Democrats have.

Republicans must demand equal time to every speech that President Obama gives. They must do this to present the minority view just as Democrats did for eight years in opposition to President Bush.

Geez I can’t believe that someone would have to tell Republicans something so fundamental.

It’s not like the Democrats didn’t already do all this stuff to them and President Bush!

Taint! Recently I heard an interview; some kids were asked if A-Rod or Alex Rodriguez was still their baseball hero after the disclosure that he used steroids in 2003.

The kids almost in unison answered back, “No! He cheated he used steroids” Boy, I thought wow the kids get it. So put a big asterisk by A-Rod’s name for whatever he accomplished in baseball. * Alex Rodriguez used steroids. (see story)

That makes Rodriguez a lair and a cheat. He told Katie Couric in a 2007 interview that he never used steroids. (see story)

The asterisk is normally reserved for cheaters in sports you know the steroid hyped-up baseball slugger who breaks all existing homerun records. We often marvel at how far a man can hit one over the stadium wall into the next state even, but we wouldn’t want to send the message to our children that it’s all right to cheat now would we? Naw after all kids tend to idolize these guys.

But wait I seem to remember… yes it was only yesterday that ACORN the group that is poised to receive $4Billion dollars in the Obama stimulus bill was found cheating in several states registering invalid names and the like in their successfully but tainted attempt to get Barack Obama elected president.

With all of the unsavory activity surrounding this recent presidential election I’m going to have to put an asterisk by the * 2008 presidential election.

Talk about a nutty idea.

Likewise the House and now the Senate economic stimulus bills are meant to help a flagging economy but as Democrats always do, especially now that they are in charge, they add on irrelevant spending measures (ACORN’s $4 Billion) to benefit themselves. They do this on the backs and at the expense of the American people and our children’s children. Yep I’ve got to put an asterisk by the *Obama stimulus bill. (see what’s in the stimulus bill)

We've looked it over, and even we can't quite believe it. There's $1 billion for Amtrak, the federal railroad that hasn't turned a profit in 40 years; $2 billion for child-care subsidies; $50 million for that great engine of job creation, the National Endowment for the Arts; $400 million for global-warming research and another $2.4 billion for carbon-capture demonstration projects.

There's even $650 million on top of the billions already doled out to pay for digital TV conversion coupons.

In selling the plan, President Obama has said this bill will make "dramatic investments to revive our flagging economy." Well, you be the judge.

Some $30 billion, or less than 5% of the spending in the bill, is for fixing bridges or other highway projects. There's another $40 billion for broadband and electric grid development, airports and clean water projects—Wall Street Journal

Finally the president of the United States of America according to our Constitution is someone who is a natural born citizen of these United States of America. Barack Hussein Obama was sworn into the presidency as the *44th president of the United States of America without meeting that constitution requirement. (see previous post)

Like a bad episode of the television series Charmed, Republicans continue to cast bad legislative choices like bad spells which will continue to ensure that they will remain the minority Party for decades to come and ultimately hurt the American people. (see story)

Sens. Susan Collins, Maine, Arlen Specter, Pennsylvania and Olympia Snowe, Maine are three RINOs in the classic denotation of insanity as they attempt to once again to work with Democrats apparently expecting a different result than getting their and the Republican Party's asses handed to them this time too as in 2004 and 2008.

Didn’t these Bush Republicans learn anything from the previous eight years? Democrats virtually undermined the entire government attempt to lose a war and destroyed a Republican President and his Party all in the effort to gain the power that they now wield over this government.

These Democrats withheld their unified support and talked down President Bush and Republicans for eight solid years. They lied about how we got into this financial crisis (which was primarily caused by Democrat policies that Republicans embraced. Doesn't any of this sound familiar?) To this very day President Obama and Democrats continue to blame Bush and Republicans for the problems in the economy which Democrats caused.

This is a Democrat mess! One that they have purposely made in order to defeat Republicans so someone please tell me what sense does it make for any Republican to aide in his or her own defeat and demise?

Helping a Democrat is like a monkey jumping on a crocodile’s back for a ferry across the river after crocodile talks of bipartisanship and patriotism. Undoubtly in mid swim the monkey will be heard exclaiming but why are you eating me Mr. Crocodile the crocodile will answer back with a rancid burp, “Because I’m a Democrat fool!”

If Republicans, all Republicans just stood back and did nothing that would be more helpful and Patriotic than what Sens. Collins, Snowe and Specter are doing in their enabling of their Democrat allies according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office!

In addition to that not one of the 600,000 jobs lost in our economy in January or any job lost subsequently will be saved or reestablished with the passing of this $827Billion dollar monstrosity geared to guaranteed to farther ensconce Democrats in power by billions of dollars of payments to ACORN, the 2010 Census and other Democrat partisan projects in order to continue falsifying Democrat votes and numbers.

Collins, Snowe and Specter did nothing to ensure that these partisan programs would not continue to receive unjustified funding in this so-called stimulus bill.

These three RINOs must be held accountable for their part in the damage that Obama and Democrats have caused and will cause if this Democrat appropriations bill disguised as a stimulus bill is voted on and passed on this Tuesday or Wednesday.

Now White House press secretary Robert Gibbs says that the president continues to have confidence in the vetting process? What vetting process? Is Mr. Gibbs speaking about the vetting process that Obama’s people promised was supposed to be the most extensive vetting process to ever be used by a president? You don’t remember that? Well please allow me to aid your memory.

Obama is conducting the vetting process much the way he managed his campaign: methodically, thoroughly and on a prodigious scale. He did not wait until he won the election to vet his favored picks.

Exceptions! The Obama administration explains it this way. There will be a few people who are uniquely qualified that will be excepted from the vetting process.

So to the Obama administration the ends justify the means. In any discussion about ethics that attitude is not very ethical. And for an administration that promised to be the most ethical presidential administration ever this is not good!

Interviewing with Anderson Cooper the President said, "I think that, look, ultimately, I campaigned on changing Washington and bottom-up politics. And I don't want to send a message to the American people that there are two sets of standards, one for powerful people, and one for ordinary folks who are working every day and paying their taxes.”

The only problem Mr. President is you were perfectly willing to present all of these ethically challenged individuals to the Senate and to the American people. You were perfectly willing to support them right up until the time that public sentiment turn against some of them and their unethical behaviors. Only then did you think enough to say that you screwed up.

Ms. Ifill reported that all of your appointees would have to face that most rigorous screening process in presidential history. Saying that you messed up or that you made a mistake does not put this behind you Mr. Obama we all know that trick. What it does is it shows that you knew that these where unethical people but that didn’t bother you Mr. President because you have always surrounded yourself with unethical people.



Finally the fact that you would do a Mea culpa is further proof that you are an unethical man yourself. Not because you said it was your fault but the fact that you used the Mea culpa as a device to get over this scandal so that you could quickly move on to the next!

Hum, so according to Pelosi less is better. That’s right the less people born the less people to provide jobs, universal healthcare, food stamps, and contraceptives for. Hey that’s preventative and that’s reducing cost! Way to go Nancy.

But wait a minute in the future when the $819Billion dollar bill comes due and you’ve prevented and reduced all of those births who is going to pay for your stimulus package?

Maybe we can get the Chinese to do it. They already hold a good portion of our debt why not let them worry that the $819Billion too.

That's it! I just came up with our new foreign policy, “Hey China you can’t war against us because if you defeat us or destroy us then who’s going to pay you back the trillions of dollars that we owe you?”

Get that statement to Obama right away it makes just as much sense as apologizing to Iran and the rest of the Islamic world for America.

Pelosi’s stimulus monstrosity is being debated in the Senate this week. Democrats have the votes to pass whatever they want but they still want the “Republican cover” that they didn’t get in the House of Representatives. It’s like they want Mommy’s and Daddy’s approval they just don’t want to be seen in public with them.

The trouble for Conservatives is there are enough Bush Republicans in the Senate to go along to get along with this $900Billion dollar Democrat madness. What’s a Bush Republican you ask? Oh that’s the Republican that wears the kick me sign on his or her back as they abandon their free market principles or any other principles that would distinguish them from a Democrat.

Bush Republicans are very eager to please their Democrat allies in the Senate and are often seen bending over frontward to do so. Bush Republicans are sometimes referred to as RINOs and like the actual animal they are not considered very bright.

So you tell them that a $900Billion dollar Democrat appropriations bill is really a stimulus package to get the economy moving but don’t pay any attention to the $4.3Billion dollars in this bill earmarked for ACORN or any of the other Democrat boondoggles and a senate Bush Republican will go along with Democrats every time.

This so-called Stimulus bill is business as usual in Washington nothing has changed except there are different Conmen in charge.

Senate Republicans should reject this bill if Democrats refuse to strip out all of their non-stimulus irrelevant wish list items.

After seeing what Democrats did to President Bush, Bush Republicans should know by now that voting on any bill just to please Democrats is a lose, lose situation. So why not do the right thing and keep true to Republican principles; small government, less spending, and Conservative values.

If Pelosi or anyone else in D.C. really truly believed in prevention or reduced cost the Senate would prevent any and all non-stimulus appropriations from getting attached to the Senate stimulus bill. That’s right not a single one not even Pelosi’s Orwellian version of prevention and reduced cost.

EU attack America’s Stimulus Bill

Wait a minute didn’t you think the Stimulus bill was about America? I was foolish enough to think that too.

You know strengthening America, creating American jobs and improving the American economy, well maybe not. Apparently the European Union has something to say about what’s in the Pelosi Obama stimulus package. (see story)


First of all, somebody please tell me why the European Union is getting in America’s Kool-aid? (hand on my hip)

I hope it doesn’t have anything to do with Obama’s pre-Presidential “People of the world…” tour. Do you think Obama was signaling to the world that if he were elected they would be able to join in with our Congress to legislate American laws? Certainly looks like it. It’s like the European Union is all up in America’s business.

Personally I think that the EU should step-off and mind their own business but apparently not the president.

The EU spokesman said Europe would launch a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) if the clause [Buy American] remained.

Under the “Buy American” clause passed by the US House of Representatives in the stimulus bill, American iron and steel must be used in construction projects that form part of the recovery plan. This is perhaps one of the few good things in this stimulus package. And the US Senate wants to extend the scope of the clause before the Bill goes to the White House for approval.

But the citizen of the world who is now the President of the United States is indicating that he has heard the people of the world of the European Union and he will remove the Buy American clause (which Congress wrote in the stimulus bill specifically to help the American economy) from the stimulus package to satisfy his fellow world citizens particularly those in the European Union.(see story)

Now I know that international relations are complicated but shouldn’t the President of the United States be concerned first with America’s interest? Like all those good middle class jobs that would be created under the buy American clause of the Stimulus bill.

And here’s another thing why is it when a nation focuses in on its own economic health and well-being the international types start throwing around pejoratives like protectionist, xenophobic, and nationalistic.

Ladies and Gentleman we’ve just witnessed the European Union dictating United States policy and the President of the United States acquiescing to their demands.

That is not the behavior of a sovereign nation. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we are no longer a government, of the people by the people and for the people.

No we are but one of many satellite nations governed by both the G20, the world’s leading economic nations and the World Trade Organization. And here’s the worst part, our newly elected President and Congress are puppet rulers whose first allegiance is to the one world economy.

Why is Obama so obsessed with the GOP

Lately they are the most sought after group in Washington D.C. and who would have thought after losing both the Congress and the White house in successive national election years that anyone would care about what they think. But interesting enough unconstitutional usurper President Barack Hussein Obama does. These days he cares very much about Republicans (See story)

What’s more Obama is fixated on getting the GOP to back his first efforts at leadership. Why? Because this is the first time that Obama has actually done anything other than talk about what he could do and of course he’s attempting to look in command and Presidential all at the same time.

Apparently Obama feels that winning GOP support will indicate to everyone that he is the one that Washington has been waiting for. Obama has said that he plans to bring an end to partisanship in Washington. The only thing is to Obama bring an end to partisanship means ending the GOP as an actual opposition to his plans to change America from a constitutional republic into a socialist society. Getting this horribly partisan and terrible flawed Stimulus bill passed with GOP support would be proof positive that Obama is the one.

Physician heal thyself

If Obama wishes to end partisanship he has to look no further than his own Party. It was Democrats who set themselves up as the Party of opposition in 2000 after Vice President Al Gore’s loss to George W. Bush and for eight years Democrats have beat a steady drumbeat of vitriol anti-Republican hatred. Might I remind you that it was the Chairman of the DNC Howard Dean who pronounced that he hated Republicans and everything about them. And upon that pronouncement Democrats from grassroots to Congress waged partisan ideologically warfare against a sitting President and his Party. (see Politics of Hate)

And next what does Obama do when he takes office? In a blatant and largely symbol gesture he signs five executive orders undoing what he and his fellow Democrats believe were wrong policies of the Bush administration a further slighting of Republican policies.

And finally at the first opportunity Democrats put everything that they’ve ever wanted to push through legislatively in an appropriations bill disguised as an $819Billion dollar Economic Stimulus Bill hoping that Americans were too distracted with the economy to notice their partisan game playing at a time of national distress.

Most, if not all, of the Democrat wish list is diametrically opposite of Republican values yet Democrats feel that Republican should forsake their own values and sign on to policies that will harm the Country and policies that will harm Conservativism.

If Obama wishes to end the culture of opposition and partisanship in Washington then he should order his Party to cease and desist in their over the top political gamesmanship.

Maybe Obama is seeking the credibility that he doesn’t have because of the way he came into office. Or maybe his overt narcissism and hubris won’t allow him to think that he can’t control what the Republican opposition is doing.

Many feel that Obama is a Usurper who conned his way into Office and used corrupted Rod Blagojevich Chicago politics and ACORN to steal the Presidency. Many believe if the Media had done its job and simply reported on Obama as they reported on President Bush Obama would not be President today.

Remember it was almost as if it were a threat in his victory speech Obama proclaimed that he would be the opposition’s President too as if he could force acceptance of himself on Americans who didn’t support him or Americans who didn’t believe that he or his Party would take America in the correct direction. Can Obama force the GOP to comply to his will? Or will Obama be able to govern for four years without clearing up the legitimacy issues that surround his presidency?

A Stimulus Bill that stimulates the Democrat Party

Right now Obama is focused on getting the GOP to support a terrible stimulus bill.

Instead Obama should go to the Democrats and have them rewrite the bill to focus on stimulating the economy only. This should not be a bill meant to stimulate the Democrat Party as it obviously is.

A clean Stimulus bill that everyone can agree to will indicate that Obama reality is who he thinks he is.

Until Obama can get his own Party to act responsibility now that they are in power he shouldn’t expect anyone but self hating Republicans to go against their best interest and in blind allegiance support a President who has vowed to destroy the constitutional traditions of America with his one word euphemism for destruction, that word is change.

The Dems Just Don’t Get it!

in the ‘stimulus package’, should prevent passage.

Exactly what part of “IT WON’T WORK”, doesn’t he and
flunkies like Barney Frank not understand? This package
is nothing but a bunch of pork, with some “income
redistribution” thrown in for good measure, in order to
get the backing of low income voters, and assure the dems
re-election in ‘12.

Nancy (oink) Pelosi is at the top of the dole-out list,
with her prepostrous requests for monies that have
absolutely nothing to do with stimulating growth. Giving
free birth control to low-income women, doesn’t grow the
economy. Carrying that theory to the ridiculous, it actually
hurts it by not bringing more children into the world.
Incidentally, there are already dozens of such programs in
place on the national and local levels.

Add to that, her insulting ninety three thousand dollar
increase in the individual petty cash accounts, of all
senators and representatives, and you know that Nancy
doesn’t give a damn about you, me or the country. Just
herself and her piggish pals. (Republicans will vote
that in also, because pork knows no party).

The bulk of “Obama’s” plan (that’s spelled
P - E - L - O -S -I) allocates millions and millions
of wasted dollars, to programs that have proved failures
in the past, and will again. This is even less than
applying a band-aid to a hemorrhaging economy. These
policies have proved disastrous whenever they have been
enacted, and only pad the voting rolls for the democrats.
Only the ill-informed, ignorant, lazy and unscrupulous
believe that taking an unearned handout from the
government, is good for the economy or the country.
All is does is grow government, permanently increase
the federal budget, and cause larger and larger deficits
as we go down the line. Eventually, these deficits
will trigger the largest and longest round of tax
increases in the history of the United States. They
will cause hyper-inflation as the government tries again
and again to “stimulate” by spending........ first, money
that it doesn’t have and secondly by just printing more
and more cash. We all know what happened to pre Second
World War Germany............. when it cost 2,000,000
marks to buy one egg.

Looking closely at this "marvelous" plan, which is supposed
to be the panacea of our problems, take note that a large
portion of this "help" will not be available until late
2010 and 2011. This will help us now?

Going back to the “Great Depression”, economists looking at
what transpired then, have shown that had Roosevelt left the
economy alone, and not interfered, this country was already
coming out of the financial collapse..........on it’s own.
His meddling caused it to last another two years. Was this
a “change we could have believed in”? One thing that he
said did make sense. “The only thing we have to fear.....
..... is fear itself”. Putting that into context.......
.... why are we messing around with the world’s largest and strongest economy?

Cut taxes, across the board..... NOW!!!!!...............
for businesses large and small, and for individuals.
President Reagan proved that by doing just that, federal
revenues actually rose, millions of jobs were created by
companies who then had capital in order to grow and hire,
and we had the largest and most sustained economic expansion
in our history.

........... but as I mentioned.......... the dems just don’t
get it! And if by some remote chance they do, why would
they admit that the Republican policies are what we need?

Ali Obama and his Five Hundred and Thirty-Five Thieves

These are the last days of the United States of America. America is in its last throes can’t you feel it? You probably thought that with the change of Presidential administration that what you are feeling is a new era, right? But Bill Clinton had in right in 2002 speaking in Australia when he prophesized that America was in its last days as a world Super power. Clinton said:

[T]his "brief moment in history" when the US had pre-eminent military, economic and political power, would not last.

"This is just a period, a few decades this will last, and I think that all of us who are Americans should think about this and ask ourselves how do we wish this moment to be judged 50 years from now," Former President Bill Clinton (see story)

But something is terribly wrong wouldn’t you say? It’s like I’m looking at an old movie remake of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves.

Only instead of 40 thieves, President Barack “Ali Baba” Hussein Obama or “Ali Obama” has 535 thieves in Congress, 100 U.S. Senators and 435 U.S. Congressmen.

Barack Ali Baba Hussein Obama first appeared on the national scene a mere 5 years ago when he spoke at the Democrat National Convention on a losing John Kerry and John Edwards campaign ticket.

Soon after and fresh from winning a Senate seat for the state of Illinois in 2004 Ali Obama (himself a consummate lair) did not wait but immediately started a campaign for the Presidency of the United States of America without serving one day in the Senate so technically Obama doesn’t even have Senate experience he’s been campaigning the whole time. Thusly, Barack Ali Baba Hussein Obama, his Chicago style corrupt pay for play politics and his ACORN minions have stolen the 2008 Presidential election and he is now appointing every known liar and tax fraud that he can find to high office.

Isn’t there a Democrat among us that pays their taxes? Oh that’s right Democrats raise taxes they don’t bother to pay taxes. Well not the more affluent ones it seems anyways.

That said, it is simply breathe-taking to witness the incoming liars and grafters that are the new Barack Ali Baba Hussein Obama cabinet and we though Ali Obama’s pre-election associations with William Ayers, Saul Alinsky, Tony Rezko and the Reverend Jeremiah Wright were troubling. Maybe Ali Obama’s choice of friends should have given Americans some pause. But it didn’t and what’s even more disturbing is Ali Obama’s 100 thieves in the Senate who gleefully have confirmed every liar and grafter that Ali Obama sends in to them.

Senator Hillary Clinton: a known lair as proven repeatedly in her Presidential campaign against Ali Obama. Clinton who also has a serious case of conflict of interest because of the money that former President Bill Clinton received and continues to receive from foreign governments and foreign interest was confirmed to be Secretary of State by Ali Obama’s 100 thieves in the Senate.

Timothy Geithner: failed to pay self-employment taxes for money he earned from 2001 to 2005 while working for the International Monetary Fund. Only when Geithner was tapped to be Secretary of the Treasury, which by the way is in charge of the IRS as one of the agencies which he oversees, did Geithner see fit to pay 5 years of back taxes equaling $42,000 in taxes.

“Although many have criticized his minor oversight, I believe that Geithner is just the kind of person that we need in charge of our money,” said President Ali Obama. Ali Obama was even heard calling Geithner an American Patriot.

Geithner, the American Patriot paid his taxes without penalty or interest and was confirmed by Ali Obama’s 100 thieves in the Senate.

Tom Daschle: Former South Dakota U.S. Senator Tom Daschle is President Ali Obama’s nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services, who after being chosen by the Obama recently paid more than $100,000 in back taxes and interest after previously failing to declare a free chauffeur service provided by a wealthy Democratic friend with whom he was in business, ABC News reported. And the Washington Post reported that there was also unpaid tax related to unreported consulting fees and questionable charitable contributions, according to a confidential draft report prepared by Senate Finance Committee staff. It said the total sum involved was about $128,000.--Philip Sherwell (see story)

Also, Daschle in somewhat of a conflict of interest also received $220,000 in speaking fees from health care groups with an interest in the work he would do once confirmed as health chief, reported by Politico.com.
Not to worry Ali Obama’s 100 Senate thieves will put on a good show before they welcome Daschle back into the den of thieves.

Eric Himpton Holder, Jr.: Ali Obama’s nomination for U.S. Attorney General according to Wikipedia played a significant role in facilitating the Rich pardon, first by recommending the well-connected Jack Quinn to legal representatives of Marc Rich, by failing to fully inform prosecutors of the pending pardon, and by eventually delivering a "neutral leaning favorable" opinion of the twilight pardon to the President from a position of authority.

Holder was also involved in Clinton's decision to reduce the sentences of 16 members of the Boricua Popular Army, an organization that has been categorized by the FBI as a terrorist organization. The clemency request was initially opposed in 1996 by U.S. Pardons Attorney Margaret Love. When Holder was elevated to Deputy Attorney General in 1997, he was asked to reexamine the issue by 3 members of Congress.

In July 1999, Holder recommended clemency to President Clinton with a report from then U.S. Pardons Attorney Roger Adams that neither supported nor opposed clemency. A month later, the clemency was granted by Clinton.

According to The Hartford Courant, the clemency was unusual because it was opposed by the FBI, the federal prosecutor and the victims. According to the newspaper, it was also unusual because, before the commutations, the Boricua Popular Army members were not required to repudiate their actions, and they were not asked to provide any information concerning the whereabouts of Victor Manuel Gerena, a co-conspirator and one of the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, or the millions of dollars stolen by the group in a 1983 robbery of Wells Fargo in West Hartford, Connecticut.

An Attorney General who pardons terrorist and criminals is another example of Ali Obama’s lack of judgment and a confirmation of Holder will enforce the fact that the Senate is Ali Obama’s 100 thieves.

Yet the largest pack of thieves reside in the House of Representatives where Ayotallah Nancy Pelosi and the 255 Democrat majority passed a $819Billion partisan bill that included billions of dollars in cash for Democrat causes and programs which would enslave unborn Americans to this most heinous act of tax payer gouging.

A valet effort no doubt but it proved unsuccessful 177 Republicans and 11 Democrats voted no to the dreaded Democrats attempt to steal the American dream from future generations by saddling them with unnecessary debt made by their forefathers who are Liberals Democrats.

Now it’s 100 Senators turn at the $900billion Obama Stimulus package it is believed that Senators will vote this coming Wednesday. 56 Democrat Senators 1 Independent and 1 Independent Democrat are the majority to 49 Republicans, incidentally many of the Republicans are Republican in name only Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Mel Martinez, Orrin Hatch,Susan Collions, Saxby Chambliss, to name a few.

It has become apparent that Democrats desperately wish to be able to say that they have produced a bipartisan bill. The only thing is it is not a bipartisan bill. This bill is a disrespectful attempt to fool the American people. Tell the American people that you’ve produced a stimulus bill for the troubled economy and then load up the bill with everything that will promote a Democrat partisan agenda.

This is stealing from the American people and if any Republican Senator aids and abets Democrats in this $900billion dollar heist we will know it and we will pursue that Republican thief until he or she is run out of office. However there are some Republicans who are attempting to protect the American people from this fraud. (see story)

On Wednesday we will see which Republicans are apart of Ali Obama’s 535 thieves or which Republicans are for the people.

He held closed door meetings the day before the House vote on his so-called stimulus package with House Republicans attempting to persuade Republicans to forget about Rush Limbaugh and just rubber stamp his $819 Billion dollar mixed bag of Democrat wish list goodies and some actual economy boosting measures. It was important to Obama and the Democrats to have a bipartisan face on this bill which of course was written by Democrats. This was important because when Americans realized that this is not the economic stimulus that was promised, no this is actually economic “porkulus” and Democrats would like to be able to say that everyone; Democrats and Republicans thought that this $819 Billion Democrat boondoggle was a good idea.

But wait, I know that you didn’t hear it in the media but bipartisanship was achieved regarding the unconstitutional usurper’s “porkulus” package. That’s right! Both Republicans and Democrats agreed that this is a bad idea; they’ve decided that this is a train wreck going somewhere to happen. Designation Senate next stop. Choo, choo!

And though the bill was rubber stamped by the majority in the House controlled by Democrats, 177 Republicans and 11 Democrats in a bipartisan fashion said no to the Democratic Jackboot and refused to goosestep behind Nancy Pelosi and the unconstitutional usurper Barack Hussein Obama. (see story)

That’s right 11 Democrats joined 177 Republicans and said no to the frivolous spending items in the $825 billion package. Frivolous spending you say? Well apparently not to the Democrats but I would think that most Americans would object to ACORN, those thieves of modern day elections, being earmarked to receive $4.19 billion for "neighborhood stabilization activities" in the Pelosi/Obama “porkulus package but it’s in there. That’s not all, Illegal Aliens are getting in on the deal too. Tax payer’s rebates up to $1,200 include cash returns for illegal immigrants who pay taxes.

Under the plan passed by the Democrat controlled House, illegal immigrants who qualify as "resident aliens" and earned a minimum of $3,000 would be eligible for rebates of between $300-$600, FOX News has learned.(see story)

I’ve already alerted you on yesterday (see story) on the numerous indulges that Democrats have larded on this bill but this is normal fair for Democrats. Don’t you remember it was Democrats who attempt to laden down President Bush’s military spending bills with pork too. Apparent this is standard practice for Democrats. They will attach their frivolous and wasteful spending to any bill. (see story)

The story here is that the hard work that the unconstitutional usurper put in giving dinner and cocktail parties in support of his “porkulus package did in fact create bipartisanship the only thing is the bipartisanship was against the unnecessary big government spending that Democrats are attempting to put on the backs of the American people. This bill represents cost greater than the Iraq and Afghanistan wars combined and it will be saddled on the backs of our children and our children’s’ children.

Bipartisanship in the House said NO to the Pelosi/Obama stimulus package and even though the package passed on a partisan majority vote, if bipartisanship is the measure (as Democrats attempted to make it before the vote) then the day was won by Republicans and Democrats who worked together attempting to protect the American people from the biggest appropriations bill disguised as stimulus package in American history.

With not a moment to spareand playing on Omerica’s fears unconstitutional usurper Opresident Barack Obama and House Democrats offered up their answers to the global economic and credit crisis which was caused by Democrat economic policies but this time they did it without the benefit of hiding behind President Bush and Republicans.

This is now officially Barack Obama’s economy and it will be no longer acceptable to blame Bush or the Republicans. To which I say, it is about time Democrats took responsibility for something that they created through Liberal legislation. (see story)

Could this be the change that Obama has promised? Let’s take a look. There are 647 text pages in the Democrat crafted stimulus bill and nobody Democrat or otherwise has studied it or the impact that this bill will have on our economy. Yet the Democrats have hastily pushed this bill through and passed it on a straight partisan line vote.

With regard to some of the sections in the bill the base print in the energy title has a provision that if our efforts to conserve energy bear fruit and we actually use less electricity we give the governor of the state the authority to approve the right of the utilities providing the electricity to raise their rates to off set the revenue lost because of the conservation gains.

This $819 Billion dollar Democrat appropriations like bill is the equivalent of the decision to invade Iraq in the damage that it will do to our economy. The bill is likely to reach $900 billion that is larger than the combined total cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. And that is because of the inappropriate and unnecessary spending hidden in this bill. Calling this situation an economic crisis Obama hopes to turn the America people against anyone who opposes him.

This is supposed to be a new era of bipartisanship, but this bill was written based on the wish list of every living -- or dead -- Democratic interest group. As Speaker Nancy Pelosi put it, "We won the election. We wrote the bill."—WSJ

And wrote this bill they did! This bill is supposed to create jobs but according to the Wall Street Journal the following is the pork that Democrats packed into this bill.

$1 billion for Amtrak, the federal railroad that hasn't turned a profit in 40 years; $2 billion for child-care subsidies; $50 million for that great engine of job creation, the National Endowment for the Arts; $400 million for global-warming research and another $2.4 billion for carbon-capture demonstration projects. There's even $650 million on top of the billions already doled out to pay for digital TV conversion coupons.

Some $30 billion, or less than 5% of the spending in the bill, is for fixing bridges or other highway projects. There's another $40 billion for broadband and electric grid development, airports and clean water projects that are arguably worthwhile priorities.

Add the roughly $20 billion for business tax cuts, and by our estimate only $90 billion out of $825 billion, or about 12 cents of every $1, is for something that can plausibly be considered a growth stimulus. And even many of these projects aren't likely to help the economy immediately.

Most of the rest of this project spending will go to such things as renewable energy funding ($8 billion) or mass transit ($6 billion) that have a low or negative return on investment.

Congress wants to spend $600 million more for the federal government to buy new cars. Uncle Sam already spends $3 billion a year on its fleet of 600,000 vehicles. Congress also wants to spend $7 billion for modernizing federal buildings and facilities. The Smithsonian is targeted to receive $150 million; we love the Smithsonian, too, but this is a job creator?

$252 billion is for income-transfer payments -- that is, not investments that arguably help everyone, but cash or benefits to individuals for doing nothing at all. There's $81 billion for Medicaid, $36 billion for expanded unemployment benefits, $20 billion for food stamps, and $83 billion for the earned income credit for people who don't pay income tax.

As for the promise of accountability, some $54 billion will go to federal programs that the Office of Management and Budget or the Government Accountability Office have already criticized as "ineffective" or unable to pass basic financial audits. These include the Economic Development Administration, the Small Business Administration, the 10 federal job training programs, education, which would get $66 billion more. That's more than the entire Education Department spent a mere 10 years ago and is on top of the doubling under President Bush. Some $6 billion of this will subsidize university building projects.

If you think the intention here is to help kids learn, the House declares on page 257 that "No recipient . . . shall use such funds to provide financial assistance to students to attend private elementary or secondary schools."

There is no doubt that the media and Democrats will attempt to paint Republicans as wrong for standing up for the American people in the face of Democrat wasteful spending such as funding Democrat wish list projects hidden in a bill that is supposed to stimulate the economy by saving and creating jobs.

But Americans are tired of Democrat finger pointing. Democrats control the government and Democrats are in charge of the economy and they have passed a historic spending bill that will cost Americans more than the Iraq and Afghanistan wars combined the results will be very little job creation. This bill is an absolute failure!

No one to blame in this fiasco but a Democrat!
