The number of people in the U.S. who are in poverty is on track for a record increase on President Barack Obama's watch, with the ranks of working-age poor approaching 1960s levels that led to the national war on poverty. -- HOPE YEN and LIZ SIDOTIHispanics and Blacks were made poorer under president Barry Hussein Soetoro’s economic policies according to census demographers and poverty is making record historic gains under Soetoro as well. (see article)
Michael Savage calls it trickle up poverty. president Barry Hussein Soetoro says we’re on the right track. However demographers who track poverty trends say that poverty in the United States is on the increase like no other time since 1959. Is that really the right track Mr. president?
Should those estimates hold true, some 45 million people in this country, or more than 1 in 7, were poor last year. It would be the highest single-year increase since the government began calculating poverty figures in 1959. The previous high was in 1980 when the rate jumped 1.3 percentage points to 13 percent during the energy crisis.—Hope Yen and Liz Sidoti
It’s no wonder a desperate president Soetoro is finger pointing at Republicans.
But for what, all of the president’s backed failed fiscal policies have been forced through by a partisan Democrat Congress. This president has gotten everything that he’s asked for in terms of economic stimulus; $700billion dollar bailout, $787Billion dollar to $1Trillion dollar stimulus, $26Billion dollar jobs/Stimulus so just what is the president belly aching about?
Oh yes it’s two months from elections and there’s no president Bush to blame so blame John Boehner? Is John Boehner the new Bush Mr. president?
One thing about finger pointing Mr. Soetoro while you’re pointing one finger three fingers are pointing right back at you. Mr. Boehner has not been able to affect anything that you and Democrats have wanted to do Mr. Soetoro. You’ve gotten your policies passed you can’t blame their failure on anyone else.
Your policies, Mr. president, have created poverty the likes that we haven’t seen in America since 1959. Now it’s evident what fundamental change means. And now it’s evident that putting Democrats in complete control is a detriment to the economic health and freedom of our country.
Democrats must be voted out in November to stop the economic bleeding and the further erosion of the United States economic infrastructure.
