Roll Obama Back!

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell
“The American people are opposed to this particular health care bill. They thought this was all going to be about controlling costs, but, in fact, we've ended up with a $2.5 trillion budget-busting proposal that CBO, the scorekeeper in Congress, tells us, after it's all over, will not control costs.”—Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky)
[D]uring the 2008 campaign, Mr. Obama promised to reduce the federal deficit. But his tsunami of deficit spending – in the failed “stimulus”, nationalization of GM and Chrysler, his $3.6 trillion budget for FY 2010 and more – has created an enormous voter backlash. In his first 100 days, he increased spending and grew government faster than at any time since World War 2.

So says Jeb Babbin in his article, Roll Obama Back, Babbin’s main point is that Democrats have made a horrible mess of the economy and war and if Republicans are going to save the American people from this amateurish White House and out of control Congress Republicans can’t be incremental mini-me Democrats. Republicans must boldly promise the American people that they will Roll back all of the excessive spending and draconian proposed taxation of the American people. (see article)

Mitch McConnell Senate Minority Leader interviews with CNN’s John King and exposes the Democrat lies about their Health Care Reform bill and how it will cut health care cost. But the nasty little secret is Health Care Reform as Democrats propose it will not lower cost it will only raise them. (see 10:19min video)

Democrats are taking America in the wrong direction. They must be stopped and all of their policies must be repealed. If Republicans are not willing to forcefully make the case that they will end the spending and stop the Obama socialization of America and Roll back everything that Obama has put in place according to Jeb Babbin Republicans will only have minimal gains in 2010 and 2012.

I agree with Babbin, if Republicans didn’t learn from 2006 how to campaign against an unpopular president and his unpopular policies then they deserve to be the minority Party for years to come.

If Republicans wish to win in 2010 and 2012 their political war cry must be “Roll Obama Back!”
