The REAL Reasons!

Here is a very interesting link, as to why the
immigration bill really failed. Both the PR
offices of the various Senators, and the MSM
have been deceiving the people with a smoke
screen.

Check this out...................

RATS!!!

Lame Duck President Bush and “Ex-Senator walking” Trent Lott

It’s not over!
This is time where we are going to see whether we are a United States Senate anymore. Are we men or mice? Are we going to slither away from this issue and hope for some epiphany to happen? No. Let's, let's let's legislate.—Sen Tent Lott R-Miss.
Rats! Senator to answer your question all Republicans who vote for cloture are not men or mice they are rats! And I mean that in the best of terms. Never-the-less, your speech will go down in history as, “How to talk yourself out of a $100,000-a-year Senate job!” Audio Link
Senator Lott: If anybody in America likes where we are with illegal immigration and legal immigration, if they think what we've got now is good or tolerable, fair or responsible, then fine. Let's try and kill this bill. Kill it with amendments. Kill it with the debate. Vote it down. I don't think that is responsible. This is one of the biggest issues facing this country and the question is do we have the courage, tenacity and the ability to get anything done anymore. If we can't do this, we ought to vote to dissolve the Congress and go home and wait for the next election...
Can we do anything anymore? I don't like a lot of these amendments. I don't like a lot of what is in the bill. I was in and out of the meetings, but I was not one of the people that worked in the so-called Grand Bargain. Some people are acting now like it was a sinister operation. I don't believe so. Everybody knew there was an effort underway. Republicans were involved. Democrats were involved. The Administration was involved. Conservatives, liberals, agriculture, everybody. Now we are going to pick it to death. I just don't think this is responsible. I am getting calls, but I would say to my constituents, "Do you have no faith in me after 35 years? That I'm just going to buy a pig in a poke here? Or be for something that's bad?..."
Last year I voted against what we came up with because I didn't think it got better. It got worse. But we have an obligation to try and we should not get all in a twit because we made one mistake or we don't get the one we wanted. Look I voted for amendments that passed and amendments that failed. I voted for bills Bush...get over all of that. This is a big issue. This is the United States Senate, the great deliberative body. Are we going to belie that description, or are we going to step up to this challenge and try and get it done right? We should vote down cloture now. Cloture shouldn't have been filed. You can't ram the Senate. You can't ram the minority around here. This won't work. All it does is make people get madder and it takes longer...
So we're going to have a vote on cloture and we're going to defeat cloture because more amendments are legitimately pending. But I'm serving notice that I'm going to be a part of trying to help to find a way to get to a conclusion, to a vote. Vote it up. Vote it down. But to try and kill it with all these amendments, you know, that are being thrown up here for the purpose of killing it to me is not an appropriate way to proceed....
This is time where we are going to see whether we are a United States Senate anymore. Are we men or mice? Are we going to slither away from this issue and hope for some epiphany to happen? No. Let's, let's let's legislate. Let's vote. I think the majority leader has a right to expect at some point we end it. Try and cover as many objections with as many amendments as we can. But at some point we have got to get this done....
Senator Kennedy, I appreciate the legislative leadership you have been providing. I know it is not easy, you know, and your own colleagues and those of us over here have been beating you up. I mean, you’re a nice poster child. Thank you very much for what you do. But I'll tell you one thing I have learned the hard way. When it comes to legislating, when you are dealing with Senator Kennedy, you had better bring your lunch, because you are going to get educated, you are going to learn a lot, and you are going to get a result. Hopefully it is going to be a good one. Good luck, senator from Massachusetts. I yield the floor.
Sen. Kennedy: And the senator too. I thank my friend from Mississippi, and I commend him for a constructive and a positive attitude.
You said 35 years Senator? Well I hope you have some good memories because this is your last term. You are what we call an “Ex-Senator walking.”
You should be glad. You and your colleagues said that things where broken in Washington D.C. so we the people are ridding Washington of all broken Republican Senators. Yeah Senator tell Lindsey and them that we’re determine to fix what’s wrong with the Party!

Boy! You think 2006 was a sweep out of Republicans, well you haven’t seen nothing yet and this time we will control the outcome because we will put up Conservatives in primaries against each one of you broken Republicans.
And we will elect a Conservative President not an almost Conservative but a true Conservative.

While Washington is burning Bush fiddles with Amnesty for Illegals

Rep. Joe Baca, D-Calif, second from left, speaks during a news conference on immigration, Wednesday, June 27, 2007, on Capitol Hill in Washington. With Baca, from left are, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., and Rep. Luis Guiterrez, D-Ill. (AP Photo/Susan Walsh)

The legend has it as Rome burned Nero fiddled. I guest that’s how some leaders relieved stress at the end of their rule. While the fiddle had not been invented yet and whether Nero sang the “Sack of Ilium” or played the lyre instead of playing the fiddle, if what Nero did is in question what is not in question is the Great fire of Rome.

Which brings me to my point, whether you believe Bush lied, spied or denied one thing is not in question is the Great spilt of the Republican Party and who’s responsible for it.

Republicans have suffered a mismanaged war, a mismanaged Presidential administration and now the greatest mistimed event ever before a Presidential election, a fight over amnesty for illegals that has absolutely split the Party and sent some Republican voters into the ranks of the Independents.

I have been warning everyone who would listen that if the President didn’t drop this divisive measure, of selling citizenship to Mexican nationals who illegally broke into this country, he would soon be attacked on his flank by Democrats with attacks on the war in Iraq and other attacks against his administration. In additional I warned that with the on coming onslaught that the Democrats were planning the President needed all of the support he could muster for the war and the remaining days of his Presidency.

I also attempted to give alert that after the lost of control of the Senate and the House in 2006 that what Republicans need is a united effort to win in 2008 and 2010 not the lose, lose fight about Amnesty which the Democrats will manipulate in their favor anyway no matter what Republicans do.

I pointed out that if the President weakened his support and weaken the Republican Party with this illegal alien divisiveness, things would be bad for Republicans. I don’t enjoy saying I told you so but…

This has got to be the most shortsighted self-indulgent political blunder of recent times President Bush. You put your wishes above the good of the Country and the Republican Party with this amnesty fight.

Finally, Republicans will have to take their own political destiny into their own hands by casting aside an ever increasing irrelevant lame duck President to concentrate on uniting the Republican Party.

First Republicans need to select leadership to coordinate a purging of ranks of RINOs; compassionate, moderate, and liberals or any Democrat placating Republicans.

Republicans need political fighters opposite to the go along to get along Trent Lott, Lindsey Graham, Arlen Spector, and Mitch McConnell type of weak archaic leader that they presently have.

Democrats have declared war on Conservativism and the Republican Party so it is important that anyone who is not ready or willing to fight for the ideas of Conservativism should be challenged in primaries with Republicans that will do the fighting that RINOs won’t do!

Today’s vote on cloture regarding the Kennedy-Bush immigration bill is a landmark vote for the Republican Party. Will Republicans stand and fight or will Republicans cut and run from the will of the electorate and give in to forces that are using the government and people to enrich themselves.

Republicans need to vote no to cloture and start repairing the damage that the President’s ill fated effort to legalize illegality has caused to Party cohesion. As well Republicans need to move forward from the shadows of failed and archaic Congressional, Marquis of Queensbury Rules, leadership and elect new leaders willing to mix it up with the Pelosis, Reids, Schumers, Murthas, Leahys, Waxmans, and the Levins of the Democrat Party.

Republicans can no longer save President Bush from himself so let him fiddle while the rest of us clean up the devastation and work put this party back together.

For the next 18 months President Bush will be catching hell every way that Democrats can throw it at him. It’s already started will the subpoenas of the Whitehouse and the Vice President. And believe me you haven’t seen nothing yet!

Bush’s up coming fight with the Democrats will provide the cover needed for Republicans to organize. The alternative is the end of Conservatism, which I believe, its end has been greatly exaggerated.

The only end Conservatives want to see now is the end of the Bush Presidency and the successful election of a Conservative President and Congress.

With Congressional Democrats’ approval rating at 14%, an all time low, there is hope that Republicans may get a chance to defeat Senator Clinton and win the White house.

That will only be possible by a united Republican Party that is united around Conservative ideas. A Party that is willing to fight for those ideas otherwise Conservatives will once again watch a united Democrat party win everything.

No on cloture, no on amnesty and no to Hillary these are a good points to start unifying around otherwise Republicans will remain out of power fiddling while America is destroyed by liberalism.

Senators vote new class of Americans; Amnesty-Americans

Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., second from right. New leader of the Republican Party, meets with House Republicans on Capitol Hill in Washington, Tuesday, June 26, 2007, that are opposed to immigration reform legislation being considered in the Senate. Rep. John Shadegg, R-Ariz., is second from left, Rep. Peter Hoekstra, R-Mich., is at center, and Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla.is at right. (AP Photo/Dennis Cook)
What’s broken? It’s obvious the government is broken and the
vote to for cloture
on immigration will not fix what’s wrong with our government, but I have an idea what will!

The issue is a broken government not a broken immigration policy and the way we fix it we remove all broken Republicans and Democrats from office. If all broken politicians are removed all else will be fixed. This is how your
broken Senate voted.

Senators that voted no to cloture on bill S 1639, Thank you!

CLOTURE!

64 to 35 for cloture. What we have here, to borrow a line from the movie Cool Hand Luke, is a failure to communicate. The people didn’t want amnesty for illegal aliens but Senators who are now “ex-Senators walking” voted for it and will now bear the full weight for their disregard of the American people.

A Rasmussen Reportsnational telephone survey found that 51% would like their legislators to “take smaller steps towards reform” while 16% believe they should wait until next year. That’s 67% of the electorate saying no on S.B. 1348. Yet 24 Republicans joined 39 Democrats and independent Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut, to defy the will of the people

Now that Senators have moved this “No Illegal Alien Left Behind” bill forward, it is up to the American people to leave behind each one that put this legislation that will do more damage to the American middle class than hurricanes Rita and Katrina combined. The impact of 12 to 20 million amnesty-Americans and their family members will make middle class wages and neighborhoods near you look like the still damaged sections of New Orleans.

The following are Senators that recently changed their position on S.B. 1348 are Sens. Kit Bond, R-Mo., Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., Norm Coleman, R-Minn., Pete Domenici, R-N.M., John Ensign, R-Nev., and Jim Webb, D-Va., these Senators should hold a special place in the hearts and minds of the American people.

And as for whether this bill is Amnesty the President thinks it is. He said so himself.

Congress Caught Lying and People are Dying!

You need 60 votes for virtually anything that's controversial, and so it's not that easy to obtain the goal. I think people don't understand this. I think people think we wanted it done now. It hasn't been done now. –Sen. Dianne Feinstein D-CA

Democrats lied! A new direction they said, we will end the war they promised. Just elect us make us the majority in Congress and we will clean up the Culture of Corruption. Well now it ain’t all that easy they say now.

All those broken promises, all those lies and all the negativity that Democrats have spewed all over the political landscape like so much Global warming CO2 emissions.
Democrat leaders Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore and John Kerry can’t open their mouths without speaking in the language of personal destruction also it is their overt negativity that has put the country in such a fowl mood and brought their own approval ratings to 14 %, an all time low. Amazingly lower than the approval rating of their prime target George W. Bush.

On Fox news Sen. Dianne Feinstein was asked why Congress’ approval rating is at an all time low. Below an excerpt of the interview follows:
WALLACE: This all brings up a bigger question, and take a look at these numbers from the latest Gallup poll. Only 24 percent of Americans now approve of the job that Congress is doing, while 71 percent disapprove.
And look at this. Just 14 percent now have confidence in Congress. That's an all-time low for the Gallup poll.

Senator Feinstein, why is Congress sinking like a stone, especially, I've got to tell you, in the last few months, among Democrats?

FEINSTEIN: Well, I'll tell you, that reason, in my view, is Iraq. Most Democrats want us out of Iraq. Virtually every Democratic candidate running for president says the first thing they will do is get us out of Iraq.

When we took over the House, took over the Senate, although the Senate is just a bare majority, I think people had the expectation, not knowing the rules of the Senate, "Wow, we would be able to move this country out of Iraq." Well, the Senate works very differently.

Senator why did people have their expectations? It not because people are ignorant or stupid as you are intimating Senator, people had their expectations because Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and you Democrats told them that if Democrats were elected to the majority of the Senate you would take this country in a new direction. Remember that? Sure you do.

Pelosi promised to lead the nation in a new direction "in partnership, not in partisanship." But instead constant personal attacks against the President, his administration or any Republican that stands for Conservative values has soured political discourse in this country and produced a political partisan hatred of likes that have not been seen.

And then there was that promise made by House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (MD) who was quoting Democrats talking points, she wrote, "First, we are going to change the way things are done in Washington today by restoring civility, honesty and integrity.”
Democrats are no where near keep any of those promises!

Then there is the Poisoned tongue of Harry Reid a man who can’t say anything unless it is punctuated with “the President lied” or he mislead or Republicans are wrong or the war is lost or the surge has failed… you get the depressing picture!

The Poisoned Tongue Harry Reid

The fact is every death of an American Soldier is Democrats fault as well as the President’s if we must place blame. Democrats voted for authorization of the Iraq war and funded the Iraq war in an Democratic Controlled Congress.

If Bush lied, which it has been established that he didn’t, the Congress is lying and have lied about everything. People know it and they’re not amused by double talk or stuttering stammering Clintonesque.

Every illegal alien that is in America and every American soldier that dies in Iraq is the result of a Democrat lie to the American people.

That’s why a Democrat controlled Congress has an approval rating less than the man that they tried to destroy politically. That is also why everyone is hating on Washington and that is why no one will escape the ire of an electorate that been lied to.

We don’t have to show you any stinking borders!!

Lester Holt with Eugenio Rodriguez of the U.S. Border Patrol being shown the Rio Grande, the river border between the U.S. and Mexico in Laredo, Texas. Photo by Marisa Buchanan, NBC News.

So far the discussion concerning illegal immigration in this country has gone like this:

The American people: "If we're the United States of America where are our borders?"

Congress and the Bush administration: "Borders!? We ain't got no borders. We don't need no borders! We don't have to show you any stinking borders!!"

Now I exaggerate about it a little, but mind you just a little! The American people and the government of the people, for the people and by the people are talking pass one another these days concerning the topic of immigration.

The American people are talking about securing America's borders and an unpopular Congress, 14 % approval rating (a historical low) and President Bush are talking about a bridge to nowhere. If the Democrats and the President's Comprehensive Reform comes out of cloture and is passed by the Senate and the House and is signed into law, that reform will be on a bridge headed to nowhere that even resembles America.

Just how did the American people become Fred C. Dobbs in this political debate? And how did the Federales become Gold Hat, the Mexican bandit leader in this conversation about immigration?

Its all about the treasure of the American Dream! The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Special Interest groups who support illegals in this country are using the lure of the American dream to encourage illegal entry into this country so that big business and politically motivated groups can profit economically and politically from the suffering and struggle of the poor illegals which they encourage to come here.

Many business groups, are hungry to fill low-wage jobs, so they not only support the Ted Kennedy Amnesty bill they are responsible for writing it. That is the U.S. Chambers of Commerce wrote it.

Senator Jim DeMint R-S.C. writes this: We do not need the Senate immigration bill to secure the border. Congress has already passed laws authorizing border security, but the Homeland Security Department has failed to fully implement them.

The administration already has the authority to build hundreds of miles of border fencing, hire and train 6,000 border patrol agents (bringing the total number of agents to 18,000), end catch and release, and create a national employment verification database. Essentially, all of the security benchmarks in the current Senate bill are already law.

Senator DeMint also says that border security is being held hostage in return for amnesty. And now Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who has long called for an immigration overhaul, is saying that the current legislation is deeply flawed and is hinting he won’t support it.

Georgia Republicans Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss say that they will oppose cloture on the immigration bill citing constituents back home didn’t have faith in another measure that promises border action because past promises have yet to be fulfilled. We applaud them all!

It is time that Republicans mend our own fences within the party and look forward to 2008 and 2010. The best way to mend fences is to drop this immigration bill and put up the border fence that according to Senator DeMint is already authorized.

Democrats are planning a full scale affront against the war in Iraq and any Republican who supports the war and the President. Also Democrats plan attacks on Conservatism in general while Lindsey Graham, Trent Lot and other RINOs wringe their hands over legislation that is a lose, lose for Republicans any way.

Is now really a good time to split the party over a wedge issue that the Bush administration had six years to fight for but didn’t? Shouldn’t Republicans be planning a winning strategy for recapturing the House and the Senate for 2008 and 2010? And the Whitehouse, shouldn't Republicans be united in their quest for the Whitehouse? Comprehensive Immigration Reform will not unite Republicans and it is not good for for America!

What we don’t need is no stinking split in the Republican party over policies that Democrats will sabotage when the enforcement of the penalties of S.B. 1348 are pursued.

Senator DeMint knows it, maybe Sens. McConnell, Isakson and Chambliss are catching on. Protect our borders and put more badges on it to stand guard is a winning priority as well as a cohesive one for the Republican party.
For all elected officials who want amnesty for illegals let them follow President Bush to his Crawford Texas Ranch in 2008, ‘cause…

We don’t need no America without stinking borders! Were talking to politicians like Sens. Graham, Lot, McCain, Martinez, Kyl, and Spector! Fellows are you listening?
And we don’t need the lot of you because if you love America you would protect her borders with no strings attached not with this amnesty for border protect bill as Sen. DeMint put it!

Finally Senators and Mr. President we do have borders and you should respect them because if you don’t it’s painfully obvious no one else will! 12 to 20 million no one elses!

If Iraq is Bush’s War, Illegal Immigration is Congress’ Fault

According to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi Iraq is Bush's war even though Congress gave the authority to go to war with Iraq. However the immigration debacle is purely the Democrats and Congress' horrible mistake.

It’s the numbers stupid and your Congress set these numbers in play. Congress sets the numbers for immigration so this "broken immigration" situation is Congress’ broken immigration situation and this is the stupidest thing that anyone or any body of people have ever done to this country. And yes this immigration debacle is far more stupid than anything that President Bush has ever done! No wonder Congress is at a 14% all time historical low.

The late Rep. Barbara Jordan (D-TX) chaired a commission to study immigration in 1995 in which her committee recommendations would have been a part of the fix for immigration in this country. Imagine that Democrats doing something right.

Rep. Jordan's Commission called for zero illegal immigration and an end to chain immigration in America. Out of those recommendations legislation H.R. 2202 was written by a Democratic controlled House of Congress. What the nonpartisan Commission called for was a strategy of preventing all illegal entry into the United States. Democrats proposed a zero tolerance for illegal alien entry into the United States.

The day the full, Democratic controlled, House began consideration of H.R. 2202, the Clinton Administration announced its support for a amendment to the bill by Reps. Dick Chrysler, Howard Berman and Sam Brownback to eliminate all of the reductions of numbers from the bill thus "broken immigration" is the Democrat’s fault, "broken immigration" is Congress’ fault! It’s the numbers stupid! And Democrats and Congress blew it big time on immigration. Roy Beck of NumbersUSA explains:

Yet Another “Link”!

The pro-terrorist, anti-American, Democrat-
controlled Congress...........takes another step
in favor of calling a truce in the war on terror.
Next will come an all-out surrender, as we cut
and run from Iraq, in the Vietnam mode.

In a predominantly partisan vote, the
Democratic controlled Senate Judiciary
Committee will restore the right of habeas
corpus to terrorists, in direct conflict with the
Bush administration policy of detainment.

In their infinite wisdom(?), the liberals will
give to non-US citizens, captured on the
battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq, the
right to walk out of jail, and probably flee the
country before they can be tried. They will set
them "free" without any regard to determining
who among them represents a serious
danger to our way of life and our country.

Of course, why should this be a surprise to
anyone? The Democrats have shown over and
over again, that their only talent is to critique
what others have accomplished, while having
absolutely no concrete plans with which to
replace what they dislike, for the sole purpose
of votes!

Last election, they claimed that what the
country needed was a real change from the
evils of the Republican administration.
Well, it seems that we got what the liberals
wanted so desperately. We traded one kind of
corruption for a worse kind, a firm foreign
policy for a weak one, sensible anti-terrorist
action for distraction, and men of principle
for men of question.

But most of all, we traded our respect and
confidence, for a bag of beans. The voter
does indeed have a short memory!

Climate Scientist don't have to be right they only have to be believed

Dr. George Kukla

Based on the record revealed in ocean and lake sediments, the most likely scenario over the next few thousand years is for the volume of ice in the polar regions to slowly grow, gradually dropping sea level and increasing the polar/equatorial temperature differential.

In the 1970s, leading scientists claimed that the world was threatened by an era of global cooling.
And Congress sprung into action by 1975, the first of numerous bills, such as the "National Climate Program Act of 1975," was introduced to establish a co-ordinated national program of climate research, monitoring, prediction and contingency-planning analysis. Much congressional testimony spoke of the inadequacy of climate research and the need for preparedness.

In September, 1979, President Jimmy Carter signed the National Climate Program Act into law, in aid of predicting future climate and combating global cooling. that act has now been enlisted in the effort to counter global warming.

Wait a minute the National Climate program Act which was signed into law by Jimmy Carter in 1979 to combat global cooling is being used in 2007 to combat global warming?

"Lucy you’ve got some ‘splaining to dooo!"

Who was the crackpot that advanced the theory of global cooling in the 1970s?
Why is was none other than George Kukla, micropalentologist and Special Research Scientist at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, a pioneer in the study of solar forcing of climate changes.

He was the lead author of the scientific paper that first supported Milutin Milankovic's theory of glacial cycles by investigating the stratigraphy in deep-sea sediment cores from the southern Indian Ocean. In the cores were clear imprints of Milankovic's proposed cycles.

In his paper he wrote, "We are certain now that changes in the Earth's orbital geometry caused the ice ages. The evidence is so strong that other explanations must now be discarded or modified." Prior to joining Columbia in 1971, he had published landmark studies in Czechoslovakia, where he was a member of the Czechoslovakian Academy of Sciences.

Okay now that we've established that he is a fanatic and a denier, why is he saying that the earth is cooling in 2007 not getting warmer as Al Gore claims?

New evidence! In a paper that Dr. Kukla only recently published, he states that he now knows that period of warming always precedes an ice age. That makes the current period of global warming a mere blip that constitutes additional indication of the ice age to come.

Also Dr. Kulka said, "I feel we're on pretty solid ground in interpreting orbit around the sun as the primary driving force behind ice-age glaciation (global cooling). The relationship is just too clear and consistent to allow reasonable doubt, it's either that, or climate drives orbit, and that just doesn't make sense."

Whoa! This is another the sun is causing climate change nut? He'd better not be right because who’s going to refund my carbon credits? Any way there is a popular consensus and everybody believes in anthropogenic climate change as created by manufactured CO2 emissions is the cause of global warming.
Politicians and environmentalists these days convey the impression that climate-change research is an exceptionally dull field with little left to discover. We are assured by everyone from David Suzuki to Al Gore to Prime Minister Stephen Harper that "the science is settled." At the recent G8 summit, German Chancellor Angela Merkel even attempted to convince world leaders to play God by restricting carbon-dioxide emissions to a level that would magically limit the rise in world temperatures to 2C.-- R. TIMOTHY PATTERSON, Financial Post

But what does Dr. Kukla believe? Based on what we've learned this decade, says George Kukla, those scientists [of the 1970s] - and he was among them -- had it right. The world is about to enter another Ice Age.

Warming or Cooling if it is the sun that is the cause for climate change I’ve lost all trust for scientists, politicians, environmentalists and proponents of climate change. Apparently it is only climate change for tax payer's dollars! Al Gore that's not right!

What you gonna do, rise (tax us of) enough money to put out the sun? Get the science right before you go making any draconian laws or raise taxes usuriously to prevent something that may not be in your power to prevent!

Bush Shoots Down Dem Hopes!

Congratulations Mr.President, on vetoing
the Democrat’s perverted version of Stem
Cell Research. This bill, together with their
liberal abortion policy, goes a long way
toward murder.

The jury is still out, but most Americans
believe that life begins at conception.... and
anything that intentionally destroys that life
is murder. I wonder if Bush’s critics would
be so vocal, if their own parents, or some
laboratory, so flippantly decided to end their
lives. Then, they would be calling themselves,
whether embryo or fetus............a living person.
Nothing like being two-faced, if it gets
you votes!

The President said.........
"Our innovative spirit is making possible
incredible advances in medicine that can
save lives and cure diseases, America is
also a nation founded on the principle
that all human life is sacred. And our
conscience calls us to pursue the possibilities
of science in a manner that respects human
dignity and upholds our moral values."

It must be very demoralizing to the
Democrats, to have one of the centerpieces
of their platform, cut out from under them
............ especially since there is little chance
of reviving it.

Of course, the queen of the vote seekers
had to make some idiotic statement about
the President putting ideology before science,
as if everybody should believe in murder.
Hillary baby, there is more to life than science.
And before you talk about "ideology", step
back and take a long look at the Clinton history.
It is a lesson in ideology............ the Clintons
first, and screw the public.

Obama accused the president of "deferring
the hopes of millions of Americans who do
not have the time to keep waiting for the cure
that may save or extend lives."

With that statement alone, Obama showed
that he is neither educated enough, or moral
enough to even be considered for the
presidency of the US. First off......... there is no
ban on stem cell research..........as the democrats
have tried to imply for years now. The President
will just not allow federal funds to be used for
the destruction of embryos. This in no way
prevents the private sector from experimenting.
Also, from all research available and well
publicized, there is an endless supply of
readily available lines of stem cells. So why
kill, just to get more. For what end? Just so
the Democrats can make more friends at
the ACLU?

Are the liberals so stupid as to believe that
more destruction will mean faster cures?
Cures that have shown little promise of
materializing, by the way. Nobody as yet,
has shown with any degree of certainty,
that stem cells will cure even 5% of the cure
claims that the liberals have made. To the
contrary............. most scientists agree that
stem cells will not hold a cure for the many
diseases already ruled out.

So what is this ker-fluffle all about? VOTES
people. VOTES! The Democrat/leftist smear
machine has put this front and center...........
as yet "another" reason to hate Republicans
and Conservatives. But like all their other
false claims, they can back it up with neither
fact nor relevance...

Hopefully the next time around, the public will
see though these phonies , and vote the
suckers OUT!

The voters still haven’t realized...........fool me once,
shame on you..............fool me twice......shame on me!

Migrating Clay Pigeons and Lame Ducks

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid

What does Immigration, Clay Pigeons and Lame Ducks have in common? Well we have a Lame Duck President and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid attempting to Clay Pigeon an Immigration Bill through the Senate. What you say?

It is said the U.S. Senate is the greatest deliberative body in the world. So why is the most important bill in at least the last 20 years, a bill that will determine the flow of immigration in this country for decades, why is that bill being “Clay Pigeoned” through the Senate instead of being debated?

What is Clay Pigeoning you ask? Clay Pigeoning is a very complicated Senate maneuver, an attempt to ram a bill through the Senate in a very controlled protected way which will limit debated on the Bill. The bill S.B. 1348 the 790 paged Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act is the legislation that the Senate is not debating, the Senate is not calling in expert witnesses for pro or con arguments on this bill as to the impact that this legislation would have on the people of the United States of America instead the most powerful man in Government Senator Harry Reid, D-Nev is doing what he does best, he’s controlling the discussion around this issue.

The Senate tactic, “Clay Pigeon” gets its name from the target used in skeet shooting, which explodes into bits as it is hit. In the Senate, an amendment is the target, and any one senator can demand that it be divided into separate fragments to be voted on piecemeal.

Ironically, the move is usually used by mavericks - not leaders - to slow down legislation, not in the opposite manner that Senator Reid is using it.
Usually this procedure used to stop a bill but the master tactician that Harry Reid is, he has conceived of a plan to use this maneuver to the favor of proponents of this bill. Because usually, "It's a brilliant way to gum up the works," said Robert B. Dove, a Senate rules expert who was the chamber's referee for 36 years.

The maneuver appears to be a relatively modern innovation; Dove said he first became aware of it in the early 1970s, when then-Sen. Jim Allen, D-Ala., a master of parliamentary procedures, used it against a bill pushed by the then- majority leader, Sen. Mike Mansfield, D-Mont. "I remember people being dazzled when he did this," Dove said.

Reid's plan has its risks, chief among them further inflaming the vocal conservative opponents who have vowed to do whatever they can to kill the immigration measure.

Reid said he would revive the bill to legalize as many as 12 million unlawful immigrants late this week. To do so, though, he needs backing from 60 senators, and a way to guarantee votes on a tentative list of 22 Republican and Democratic amendments whose consideration is seen as vital to satisfying key waverers.

The so-called clay pigeon is how he's expected to do it, under a strategy that was still taking shape Monday.-- JULIE HIRSCHFELD DAVIS, Washington, AP

Edwin Meese, III
Ronald Reagan Distinguished Fellow in Public Policy and Chairman of the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies explains the complicated immigration bill.

Senator Harry Reid is no stranger to complicating thing in the Senate and coming out on top. As the Minority leader Senator Reid gave Senate Majority leader Bill Frist fits.

Accusing Republicans of ignoring questions about pre-war intelligence, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid forced the Republican-controlled Senate into an unusual closed session in 2005, igniting anger from GOP leaders.

Before making the rare motion, which was seconded by his assistant minority leader, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., Reid said his colleagues across the aisle "have repeatedly chosen to protect the Republican administration rather than get to the bottom of what happened and why."

Michael Franc, Vice President, Government Relations explains how present procedure to rush S.B. 1348 is not normal procedure for complicated Senate legislation.

An exasperated and outdone Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist was reduced to shouting out in the halls of the Senate, the Senate "has been hijacked by the Democratic leadership."

"They have no convictions, they have no principles, they have no ideas," he said.
Frist said the Democratic Party leadership did not warn him in advance of the move, which Republicans called a "political stunt."

"It means from now on, for the next year and half, I can't trust Senator Reid," the Tennessee lawmaker said. –Worldnetdaily, November 1 2005

Duh, Senator Frist that’s why Republicans lost control of the senate in 2006, Democrats were better politicians than Republicans. Much better! Democrats were controlling the Senate way before 2007 before they had official control of the body because of incompetent Republican leadership. The same leadership with Trent Lott as second in authority that will lose in 2008.

And what about the first month of official control of the Senate, Reid used, a Senate tactic called "filled the tree" a tactic meant to block any amendments to the continuing resolution and twice attempted to block votes on alternatives to his Iraq resolution to set deadlines and timetables for withdrawal. So much for real debate.

By filling the tree and filing cloture on the latest Iraq resolution, he brings the Senate in for a Saturday cloture vote - trying to break the minority by forcing Republicans to vote for cloture or else suffer media spin that they are blocking a vote on Iraq. Nice senator Reid real nice.

If S.B. 1348 is passed it will be done on the planning and political maneuvering of a superior political party, the Democrat Party, but not because the legislation is good for America.

If Republicans are going to stop this clay pigeon from migrating through the Senate they will have to overcome incompetent Republican leadership, disregard the lame duck in the White house and the Harry Reid controlled Senate to do the right thing for America.

The only question is, are Republicans good enough politicians to get the job done. Truth is they haven’t been for quite a while.

MEXIPHOBIA

Mexiphobia - Noun

1. The inordinate fear of Mexicans illegally in this country doing the jobs that Americans won’t do.

2. The fear that the U.S. Government would grant amnesty to 12-20 million Mexican that are illegally in this country, thus showing that laws in the United States are not equally applied.

3. The fear that Mexicans who are illegally in this country are voting in U.S. elections, utilizing tax payer services, e.g. schools, health care, social services, etc, etc, etc.

4. The fear that Mexicans who are illegally in this country are artificially driving down wages for the poor and middle class in America causing unemployment for U.S. citizens and record profits for U.S. companies.

5. The fear that the U.S. Government is attempting to deluge the population of the United States of America with large numbers of uneducated, uninformed, politically unsophisticated and servant like Mexicans who will not question the direction in which the Government is going.

I get it! On May 1, 2006 and May 1, 2007 days which hundreds of thousands of Mexican citizens, who are in this country illegally and their America supporters, paraded in the streets of cities all across the United States of America these people who break our laws were officially coming out to the American people.

We’re here, we’re illegal and we’re going to reclaim the eagle!

They’re out of the closet, out of the shadows, and they’ve thrust themselves into the bright light of day and baby there ain’t nothing that you can do about it so deal with it!

Hiding? Who’s hiding? They go to work, or stand out in the open on corners or in front of Home Depot looking for work. Their children go to school and if you’re a citizen of the United States and you’ve had the misfortune of going to any hospital emergency room in the country you had to wait behind people who are using the emergency room as their primary source of care.

Between 40 and 50 percent of wage-loss among low-skilled Americans is due to the [illegal] in-migration of low-skilled workers. Many American workers lose their jobs through unfair competition. An estimated 1,880,000 American workers are displaced from their jobs every year by [illegal] immigration and the cost for providing welfare and assistance to these Americans is over $15 billion a year - FAIR research.

[Illegal]Immigration is a net drain on the economy; corporate interests reap the benefits of cheap labor, while taxpayers pay the infrastructural cost. FAIR research shows "the net annual cost of immigration has been estimated at between $67 and $87 billion a year. The National Academy of Sciences found that the net fiscal drain on American taxpayers is between $166 and $226 a year per native household. Even studies claiming some modest overall gain for the economy from immigration ($1 to $10 billion a year) have found that it is outweighed by the fiscal cost ($15 to $20 billion a year) to native taxpayers."

However in spite of the facts and in spite of the statistics if you say any against this deconstruction of the American middle class you are racist, bigoted, xenophobic, nationalist… you are, you are…

MEXIPHOBIC!

You are a mexiphobe if you speak against S.B. 1348 the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act. You are a mexiphobe if your position is that people who broke immigration law should not be awarded in any way but they should be sent back to their country of origin and apply for citizenship or work visas the right way.

You are a mexiphobe if you email, call or write your Congressman or woman to express your dissatisfaction with this convoluted semi-clandestine 790 page attempt to enact a law before the America people know what hit them.

This is not legislating, this is not leading politically Mr. Bush, no this is political used car selling. Talking fast and hoping you can get the contract signed and the car off of the lot before the American suckers realize that the lemon that they’ve just purchased can’t be returned because there is no three day consumers protect law.

This is a civil rights issue, like Roe, like Homosexually which have no bases in Constitutional law but find their legitimacy by Court fiat the latest attempt to bestow artificial civil rights status on a group is this! 12 to 20 million people who have entered into this country illegally have the right to do so and if you don’t approve you are a Mexiphobe!

That’s how you do it in America isn’t it? You invent a phobia, you invent a civil right, you invent a lobbying group and Oprah, the courts, the media, the schools, the colleges, big business, scientist, educators, and doctors will give you legitimacy and will defend you to the death.

But these other fools the nativist the nationalist, the Minute Man the Conservatives are all Mexiphobes.

Welcome to Creating Orwellian Worldview 101, this is hard core, “WAR IS PEACE, FREEDOM IS SLAVERY, IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH” Mr. Winston.

Illegal is legal (after paying a fine), Minute Men are Vigilantes (when they do the job that American Government won’t do) and YOU are a Mexiphobe (when you ask that present American laws be enforced.)

I have a new word for you …Electoratephobe.

That is the fear of American voters who will vote anyone out of office who puts amnesty above or combined with the protection of the borders of the United States of America.

A Electoratephobe is a politician who if they don’t have a fear of electorate now will have a fear of the electorate the very next time that their name is on a ballot!

And believe me you’d rather be a Mexiphobe than a Electoratephobe in 2008 and 2010!

America Thanks You

We thank the following Senators for doing the work that no other American Politician would do.

That work is looking after the interest of the American people! Please write them and encourage them to stay resolute in their efforts to do what is best for the American people in spite of the pressure from the Old-Boys-Club of politicians who champion oligarchical political and economic stratification over a government of the people, for the people and by the people.

Email each one today!

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, who wants to toughen a requirement that unlawful immigrants seeking green cards return home to apply for permanent legal residency.

Sen. Lamar Alexander, R- Tennessee, who wants - to require all illegal immigrants to go home within two years in order to receive a Z visa to live and work lawfully in the U.S.

Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tennessee who wants to require all illegal immigrants to go home within two years in order to receive a Z visa to live and work lawfully in the U.S.

Sen. John Thune, R-S.D, who wants to bar illegal immigrants from gaining lawful status until border security and workplace enforcement measures were accomplished.

Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Georgia who wants the Bush administration to request separate emergency funding for those purposes before any action on a broader immigration bill.

Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Georgia who wants the Bush administration to request separate emergency funding for those purposes before any action on a broader immigration bill.

Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Mn. who wants to allow law enforcement officials to question people about their immigration status.

And Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., who has fought fearlessly for Americans and America’s sovereignty and who wants to block a conference that would be needed to reconcile House and Senate versions before an immigration bill could be signed into law, if proponents of reviving immigration successfully persuade any of the Congress people to abandon the American people.

These brave politicians are the only ones who presently stand between the American people and the oligarchs who champion immigration reform.

We own these politicians our heart felt honor and support! Thank you Senators!

If I missed anyone who should be so honored my apologies. Please let me know to be included in future acknowledgements. Thank you

Now I Understand..........!

When Dan Rather shouted out on election night
2000........."We won!".......... that said it all. Of
course, he was reacting to the false report that
Gore had overtaken Bush, and snatched victory
from the jaws of defeat.

I always wondered, how a so-called respected
news "reporter" could sit there, in front of millions
of people, and spout such obvious personal opinion.
This after all, was the respected "face of CBS news".
An anchor whom the entire US had looked up to for
truth, honesty and the "American way".

Little did I realize the insidious nature of the liberal
infiltration of the MSM. I had always figured that
everyone was entitled to his own opinion, so what’s
the harm? I was wrong! News is news, and opinion
is opinion............and unless the opposing view is
presented, it is only a soapbox for the left.

I just finished reading, "Bias"...........by veteran CBS
news reporter Bernard Goldberg. What a revelation!
Here is a man, who suffered the slings and arrows of
just about everyone at CBS.............. for a long time.
Goldberg claims that he had approached Rather, not
once, but several times, about bias in the newsroom
Old "Danny-boy" refused to see even a hit of bias to
the left............... and adamantly went on with
business as usual.

Goldberg had no where else to go, since even the top
brass at CBS treated Rather as a god! They would go
to him for decisions on anything that related to the
nightly newscasts............. and if he turned thumbs
down, that was it! Case closed.

So when the WSJ invited Bernard Goldberg to write
an article in their editorial pages, pertaining to liberal
bias in the news.............Bernard accepted. He gave
Rather a heads-up before it went to press......... that
he had written an article for the WSJ, and explained
it’s content. Dan basically said that it didn’t matter.

When the editorial broke, Rather went ballistic, and
from that day on, never spoke to Goldberg again, and
made it known that he would never forgive him. He
also made the rounds of all the major TV talk shows,
and claimed that Goldberg was an "activist with a
political agenda". Why?................. just for wanting
news reporting to be accurate, without the slant?

The book is a recount of the methods of twisting the
news to reflect liberal thinking, and of Goldberg’s
days at CBS, before, during and after the WSJ
article. If you haven’t read it yet, put it on your
"to-do" list..... and follow through.

I swear, you will never look at TV news in the same
light again!

Amnesty or Bust!

Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., second from left, From left are, Los Angeles radio host Eddie "El Piolin" Sotelo, Kennedy, Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla., and Rep. Joe Baca, D-Calif. (AP Photo/Dennis Cook)

If Iraq is Bush’s war then U.S. Immigration failure or crisis is Congress’ failure. Senators, a Democrat lead Congress and President Bush undaunted by the will of the American people rushing headlong into political destruction vow to give or sell amnesty to 12 to 20 million Mexican Nations in keeping with the wishes of big business in this country.

Below Kelly Hunt Chamber of Commerce talking head, drones out the reasons that the chamber is behind this legislation, the only cliché that she didn’t use was, “These immigrates are doing jobs that Americans wouldn’t do!”

Kelly Hunt, Manager Immigration policy – U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Heard it all before now we know where President Bush is getting all of this propaganda.

And you do know that Kennedy didn’t write the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (CIRA) S.B. 1348 these guys did, the Chamber of Commerce.

It is time for every Congressperson, business and special interest group that is lobbying for this legislation to come out of the shadows and into the light of day so that the America people can see just who is responsible for the deconstruction of the American dream. America wants to know who exactly "big business" and "special interest" are by name.

From this point we are taking names and kicking political and business backsides.

Do not revive this legislation, Do not pass this Bill

So what’s Broken Mr. President?

“…the iniquity of the fathers upon the children”
—Exodus 20:5

There is a saying that, nothing in politics happens by accident. Whether that’s true is the stuff of conspiracy theorist no doubt. However, what puzzles me is how politicians and their cohorts are representing the idea that the Immigration policy in this country somehow just came apart at the wheels like some old rusted farmer’s tractor that had plowed one to many lettuce fields.

I beg to disagree Mr. President I don’t believe that America’s current Immigrant law is broken at all. I believe that present immigration law is working. And as a matter of fact it is working as it was written and it is doing just exactly what it was intended to do.

That’s what I said, the present Immigration situation is not a broken system rather it is the system that the Clinton Administration and Congress of the United States of America wrote, voted into law and amended. This present “broken immigration” policy was intended to do just what it’s doing, what we are experiencing are the sins of the United States Congress and our government being visited upon the people of America. Let me explain.

In 1996 Congress wrote, voted for, and amended a comprehensive immigration reform entitled, The Immigration and Nationality Act 1996, H.R. 2202. This reform was supposed to be the comprehensive answer to America’s immigrant problems.

Leaving nothing to chance Congress commissioned a report for recommendations on how best to handle the immigration policies of America. The commission headed by the late U.S. Congresswoman Barbara Jordan was referred to as the Barbara Jordan Commission on Immigration Reform.

This bi-partisan commission suggested a comprehensive plan to improve the way the United States handled its immigration policy from which Congress adopted legislation in the form of the bill The Immigration and Nationality Act 1996, H.R. 2202.

The Jordan commission recommended four important points and three minor. The four important points are as follows:

1) A strategy of prevention of illegal entry and the facilitation of legal migration in the national interest.
2) Reduce the magnet that jobs currently present for illegal immigration
3) Illegal aliens should be eligible for no public benefits other than those of an emergency nature
4) Removal of criminal aliens.

Also the Barbara Jordan Commission recommended doing away with the adult-relative categories within U.S. immigration policies also called chain migration (begun only in the 1950s) in order to lessen wage depression among lower-paid American workers. The House Judiciary Committee agreed with the Jordan Commission and passed H.R.2202, which would have effectively ended chain migration.

Chain migration as U.S. immigration policy was then written allowed immigrants to send for their adult relatives. Then each of those relatives can send for their and their spouse's adult relatives, creating a never-ending and ever-growing chain.

This policy encouraged legal and also the illegal immigration which harms this country even today because as foreign nationals began to see their countrymen leaving in mass numbers and as they heard of the money that could be made in America it invoked jealousies and desires in those who were left behind with no family to call them over across the border into the United States of America.

As originally written H.R.2202, with its prohibitives against sending for adult relatives, upon the recommendation of the Jordan Commission once again would have ended chain migration.

What happened next set this Nation on the course we’re on today and this is the thing that is “broken” with our present laws Mr. President. On the floor of the House an amendment was attached to H.R.2202 which stripped out the comprehensive reforms that would have ended chain migration. The Chrysler-Berman Amendment which passed the House by a vote of 238-183 annulled all of the work that the Barbara Jordan commission set forth to comprehensively reform immigration in the United States. The names of the 238 Representatives who broke immigration are linked here.

This was done at the Clinton Administration’s request.
President Clinton publicly announced his support for the recommendations on legal immigration of the late Barbara Jordan's Commission on Immigration Reform. The headline in the June 8, 1995 edition of the Washington Post, for example, was "Clinton Backs Call to Reduce Immigration." The article began as follows: "President Clinton yesterday endorsed the recommendations of a congressional commission calling for a substantial reduction in the number of legal immigrants allowed to enter the country." The article went on to say that the President had issued a statement in which he praised the recommendations as "consistent with my own views" and a "road map for the Congress to consider."

However the Clinton Administration then announced its support for the amendment by Reps. Dick Chrysler, Howard Berman and Sam Brownback to eliminate the legal immigration reductions from the bill, and it asked House Democrats to support the amendment, as well. Two days later, the Chrysler-Berman-Brownback amendment was adopted by a vote of 238 to 183. This amendment reinstated chain migration thus setting the stage for the on slot on the borders of the United States of America. See amendment below

Please notice that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s name is on the voting record which broke the Immigration law in this country. What that means is that Americans can not trust this Congress or this President to fix what’s wrong with this countries immigration policies, policies that have allowed 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens to break the laws of these United States of America.

The bottom line is what this demonstrates is that the American people can not trust our government! No matter what the legislation is when the American people are not looking Congress will go back and amend it behind our backs. Or they will choose to defund it, or they will write other legislation to void out the original law. If we allow them to force new broken legislation on the promise to fix it later Americans will end up screwed once again.

Americans can no longer trust this Congress and this President on the issue of immigration. If you Senator Reid, Congresswoman Pelosi and if you President Bush want the backing of the American people you’ve simply have to show the American people that enforcing the law in this Nation of laws is important to you.

The American people will not put up with double standards, not for Paris Hilton and certainly not for people who are not citizens of this country who disregard our laws.

However our greatest disdain is reserved for politicians who forsake their sacred trust for the bidding of the Chamber of Commerce, foreign governments, special interest immigration groups and international corporate interests all who are attempt to suck the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness right out of soul of this country.

The American people expect our representatives in Congress as well as our President to remember what this government is about. This is a republic of the people, of the People, by the People, and for the People.

Right now Ms. Pelosi, Mr. Reid and Mr. Bush we see your actions are actions representative of other interests rather than for the interests of the people who elected you.

Therefore secure our borders first Mr. President, bring all who are guilty of breaking our laws to justice (and do not change our laws to avoid the hard work of being just and fair!), punish big business that is knowingly breaking the law.

If you do these things you would comprehensively reform immigration Mr. President! If you do only these three things Mr. Bush that would be better than the The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1996, H.R. 2202 and the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act 2007, S.B. 1348 because it was the Congress controlled by big business that broken immigration Mr. President and the American people would be the fools, that apparently, you and Congress think we are if we allowed you to “fix” what you broke with more bad legislation. America’s present immigration problems are the sins of Congress visited upon the American people, that’s what’s broken Mr. Bush!

Secure our borders, enforce our immigration laws and punish those who break our immigration laws.

There, a three point plan to comprehensively reform immigration in this country Mr. President. Now for a little arm twisting of our own. Call your representatives (again) today. Tell them that you don’t trust them to fix immigrant and until they secure our borders, enforce our present laws and punish those who are guilty of breaking present laws, don’t even think about adding anything to further confuse the issue of immigration in this country!

No to Comprehensive Immigration Reform S.B. 1348! Call today and keep calling!

A Fateful Trip!

Michael Moore, the so-called "documentary
film maker is in deep doo-doo again! None
more deserving of this honor, than the creator
of, "Roger & Me", "Bowling for Columbine", and
"Fahrenheit 9/11"......... all "mocumentaries" ,
all fiction with little fact, and all passed off as
"gospel truth" by the far left.

His new project, "Sicko" may just be his
downfall. It looks as though his attack on the
American health- care system, may just backfire
on him. His planned partial release and his
promotion of the film on the talk-circuit may
all be a waste of time.......both "artistically" and
financially.

He (it seems) deceptively took about a dozen of
the rescue workers at ground zero, to Cuba, for
medical treatment. His point being that they
can’t afford to get in the US.........the care that
they will get in Havana.

Uncle Sam doesn’t seem to go along with
Mickey boy. He probably violated a
45-year-old government restriction against
American citizens spending money in Cuba,
unless a government license is issued. The
Treasury Department has opened an
investigation into illegal activities. If he is
convicted of these charges, he faces a
$65,000 fine, per person.............. and his
Cuban film footage faces confiscation......
BEFORE the general release of this
propaganda film.

Questions continue to mount as to how
he got these people to Cuba. Moore’s attorney
claims that the group had a legal "journalistic
endeavor" under license granted to member
of the press who can provide evidence that they
are employed on a regular basis, by a news
organization. No one from Moore’s office can
say whether he actually attained any license from
the Treasury Department.

Adding to Moore’s problem is the fact that none
of the "Sicko" subjects are regularly employed
as journalists, and his own company
credentialed the interviewees itself, and flew
them to Havana on a charter flight.

Big, big question!...... What paperwork did
the entire group present to Customs and
Border Protection when they boarded the flight
in Miami? The US Treasury Department claims
that it did not issue any permit for Moore to
travel there. Were those papers forged? Was
there some leftist-sympathizer who "overlooked"
paperwork and allowed them to leave?

Whatever the findings........ whether a simple
mistake, or a deliberate attempt on Moore’s
part, I hope this investigation is a thorough one,
and if he is found guilty, they should throw the
book at him...........and not just a film reel!

Call Them “Chexico”& Co.

J.P.Morgan Chase & Co. announced that it will
will let checking account customers in the New
York City area wire money to Mexico for free!

A "brilliant move" on the part of a so-called
American bank............ proving once again that
big business is multi-national and couldn’t give
a royal crap about the country.

Expect huge transfers of dollars, most of them
illegally earned and tax free, to find their way
to Mexico........... thereby making Chase the "bank
of favor" with both the Mexican government and
the Mexican people.

This is a disgrace of major proportion, and every
American should boycott Chase and any other
bank that puts further drain on our resources for
their own profit.

Beware Chase............... you’ve seen boycotts
work before........... and they will again!

If elected President I will win the peace in Iraq and bring the troops home

Senate Majority leader, Harry Reid, third from left, with Senators Joe Biden, D-Del., left, James Webb, D-Va., second from left and Carl Levin, D-Mich.

Now that’s a winning political statement if I’ve ever saw one. Wonder why none of the Republican candidates thought to say it or is it that none of them has the nerve to say it? Democrats think they have a winner,"Stop the War Now." I guess these guy aren't concerned with winning anything except winning an American election at any cost.

Well since 2008 is going to be all about the war somebody had better come up with something quick or measuring drapes for the offices in Congress wouldn’t be the only measuring that Democrats will be doing. (If you know what I mean!) Democrats are already planning their 2008 offensive against Republicans while the President is attempting to wrangle cats for a cattle drive. Plainly spoken we don’t need comprehensive immigration reform Republicans what we need is comprehensive GOP reform!

Democrats voted for this war argued for it and now are attempting to run away from it now that a strong anti-war movement has risen in their netroots driven by moveon.org. This is extremely hypocritical of Democrats but highly political efficient because Democrats don’t seem to mind hypocrisy in their own ranks. See below.

While President Bush is attempt to be the front man for Immigration Reform or Amnesty for illegal aliens his Democrats compatriots are sharpening knives to insert into his political back regarding the war in Iraq. Yep going to make short work of him!

Thus making the Immigration alliance between he and his Democrat co-conspirers the shortest cease fire ever in the history of the Red State Blue State Divide between Democrats who hold legislative power and a lone Republican President who has ineptly shot himself in the foot, distancing himself from his own party, with divisive language aimed at Conservatives who find it wise to proceed with caution whenever Senator Ted Kennedy is involved comprehensively in anything.

That not withstanding, a plot is a foot in Congress to continue to press for the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq Mr. Bush. "On Iraq, we're going to hold the president's feet to the fire," said Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, saying debate would start in two weeks time.

In fact in two weeks Democrats plan a full court press against the White house regarding the war. Just a little sumthin’ sumthin’ to keep Republicans busy and on the defensive while Democrats gain momentum for taking the White house in 2008.

I thought I’d tell you Mr. Bush since your “spidey senses” don’t seem to be working all that well and your political advisers are either on vacation or Sen. Carl Levin, Mich. (D), chairman of the Armed Services Committee is holding them hostage along with Joint Chief of Staff General Peter Pace.

Instead of drawing down on Republicans President Bush, and attempting to change minds regarding legislation that you’re attempting to force though Congress and into law, maybe you should be doing the same strategizing, with Republicans, as the Democrats are doing against you. Democrats are about to wage various on-slots against your Presidency for the time that you have remaining. You can’t say that you haven’t been warned!

Democrats have stated that they will challenge the White House with new withdrawal timelines, troop readiness issues and the curtailing of the president's authority to continue the War.

Democrat Majority leader Harry Reid admits that Democrats made some mistakes in their first attempt to cut and run from Iraq but Reid acknowledges that they have a new and better plan this time.

The Democrat new attempt will be attached to an authorization bill a measure that approves $649 billion in military spending, not a war budget in support of the troops. So effectively Democrats can attack the war without giving the appearance that they are actually cutting off funds to the troops. What do you have in response Mr. President? …Nothing? I thought so!

Senator Reid would also call for debate on an amendment which sets a goal for combat troop withdrawals by the end of March 2008. Anything from across the aisle Mr. Bush? Yeah… I didn’t think so!

Hello is anyone in the White house getting this? You’re worried about Comprehensive Immigration reform and the Democrats are going to Comprehensively Reform the Presidency of the United States of America by getting their candidate elected. They’re going to do it by keeping the Bush administration hunkered down, while attempting to keep a Democratic controlled Congress from undermining the war effort. Somebody’s not seeing the big picture here Republicans. (Where’s Karl Rove when you need him?)

First it was House Speaker Nancy Pelosi laying out the plan for Republican destruction and now it’s Reid announcing their intent to buffalo the Republicans. They must figure that Republicans are so stupid that they can tell them what they intend to do and just do it.

Come on guys the Trent Lott, BILL FRIST 1866 Marquis of Queensbury Rules of politics are over. Republicans need some real political communicaters, strategist and fighters if Republicans are going to salvage themselves for the 2008 and 2010 elections.

Stopping the Amnesty bill is a good start Republicans but if protecting America’s borders and representing Republican values are jobs that you as Americans won’t do then please step down or let it be known that you feel that you can no longer serve as a Republican in the House, Senate or White house and I’m sure that Republicans will replace you with someone who will do the work that you an American representative won’t do.

Any ways, Its time you Republicans start listening to your netroots! Judging by the 2006 fiasco and the political chaos that the GOP now finds itself in, it couldn’t hurt.

You guys are in some serious need of some Republican political muscle. Unfortunately that’s a job that Republicans who are trying to mimic Democrats or compassion Conservatives just won’t do!

Mr. Bush put up this Fence!

U.S. Mexico border fence

"Unfortunately, neither the previous administration nor this administration nor the Congress has done a good job of enforcing the border," --Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz.

President Bush is spending his political capital on Capitol Hill today attempt to twist arms, as it where, to convince the people that he has called scare mongers, unpatriotic and xenophobes.

One problem Mr. President you can’t enforce this Comprehensive Immigration Reform legislation. How do I know.

It’s very simple your administration and administrations before you could not enforce the simple laws that are already on the books and you could not deliver on your promise to build a fence to stop the invasion of millions of Mexican Nationals who intend to do a weaponless take over of these United States of America.

May 17, 2006 The Senate voted 83-16 in favor of construction of 370 miles of triple- layered fencing along the Mexican border and 500 miles of vehicle barriers but to date no fence. Which is lending to the continued distrust of Congress that most Americans are feeling.

In spite of current laws there are upwards of 20 million illegal aliens plus their anchor babies and their family members who have entered into this country. These foreign invaders have sat up squatter rights to citizenship and voter rights all which you Mr. President and Congress are all to happy to dole out like the free welfare, public schooling and medical care that you already make possible for these law breakers

June 12, 1987, Ronald Reagan stood in front of the Berlin Wall and spoke six words that resonated deeply with millions who endured Soviet domination throughout Europe and among proponents of democracy around the world. "Mr. Gorbachev," Reagan said firmly, with a hint of anger and a flash of indignation, "tear down this wall."-- Kenneth T. Walsh, U.S. News.com

If you plain to change the minds of your constituents Mr. President you’ll have to do the hard work of keeping promises passed. Build the Fence that Congress promised, stop the violation of United States sovereignty by the 8,000 illegal border crossings per day and enforce the laws that are presently on the books on employers of illegals.

And Mr. President if you wish to grant amnesty then let it be first with American citizens, President Bush you need to pardon Jose Alonso Compean and Ignacio Ramos two border patrol agents who are now imprisoned for attempting to enforce the U.S. border against your wishes.

The difference between you and President Reagan Mr. President is that President Reagan’s call for the tearing down of the Berlin wall was for America’s interest.

On the other hand your call for amnesty is against America’s interest and profits big business only.

Mr. President put up our FENCE!
