Obama is Ineligible for the Nobel Peace Prize

Chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Thorbjoern Jagland
Members of the Norwegian committee that gave Barack Obama the Nobel Peace Prize are strongly defending their choice against a storm of criticism that the award was premature and a potential liability for the U.S. president.-- IAN MacDOUGALL and KARL RITTER
There is no defending this choice. This choice violates the will of Alfred Nobel.

As the saying goes, it’s a bad joke if you have to explain it. So imagine the laugh out loud joke of first giving the Nobel Peace Prize to President Barry Hussein Soetoro and then having to explain it like the members of the Norwegian committee has been doing for days now.(see story)

AP news reports that four members of the five-seat panel told The Associated Press that they had expected the decision to generate both surprise and criticism.

So what, the Nobel committee is playing Punk’d with the Nobel Peace Prize now? Is Ashton Kutcher on the panel?
"Alfred Nobel wrote that the prize should go to the person who has contributed most to the development of peace in the previous year,"
Here we go again something else that Barry Hussein Soetoro is not eligible for.

By the criteria outlined in Alfred Nobel’s 1895 will Soetoro doesn’t even qualify for the Nobel Peace Prize this year. The will explicitly states that the Peace Prize will be awarded to the person who has contributed most to the development of peace in the previous year. The Noble committee is completely ignoring the will of Alfred Noble to make a political statement by giving president Soetoro an unmerited award which he is ineligible for.

The previous year in this case is 2008 Soetoro became president at noon January 20, 2009 according to most sources Soetoro name was submitted to the Nobel committee 12 days after the inauguration. No matter how hard the committee attempts to justify the unmerited award there is just no way that Soetoro deserved the Nobel Peace Prize and to his credit he has said so himself but to his fault he still intends to take the unmerited award.

He would have had to accomplish some acts worthy of note in 2008. Soetoro wasn’t president in 2008 he was campaigning for President in 2008. Awarding the Peace Prize outside of the stated will of Alfred Noble dishonors Noble, the Prize and everyone involved.

According to Ian MacDougall and Karl Ritter the decision stunned even the most seasoned Nobel watchers. They hadn't expected Soetoro, who took office barely two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline, to be seriously considered until at least next year. That would have been the appropriate time to nominate and award Soetoro if in fact he was judged worthy at the time.

Nothing that the committee can say can erase the fact that they are willfully disregarding the criteria outlined in the will of Alfred Nobel and superseding his will with their own personal political agenda.

If Barry Hussein Soetoro accepts this bogus award he along with the committee will be forever tainted as the committee with a political agenda that awarded an illegitimate 2009 Nobel Prize Peace to an ineligible recipient.

Can’t this president do anything legitimately?
