Ronald Reagan refutes Barack Obama’s Health Care Reform

Ronald Reagan
Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy, I knew Jack Kennedy, Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you are no Jack Kennedy.--U.S. Democratic vice-presidential candidate Senator Lloyd Bentsen
Barack Obama enjoys identifying with Great president’s he has attempted to identify with presidents from Abraham Lincoln to Ronald Reagan. But for all of us who are old enough to remember President Reagan we can say without question that Barack Obama is no Ronald Reagan.

Often one asks the question what would one of our great men of the past say about one topic or the other but rarely do we get a chance to hear someone reach back from the after life and tell us exactly what they think about what we are doing today.

But that is exactly what Ronald Reagan did as a private citizen in this 1961 recording from the Operation Coffee Cup Campaign against Socialized Medicine as proposed by the Democrats. Today Barack Obama and the Democrats are proposing Socialized Medicine under the guise of Health Care Reform. Listen to Ronald Reagan’s answer to why we must not allow the Democrats to bring the scourge of Health Care Reform upon the American people. (Audio 10:06mins)

Any Blue Dog Democrat that votes for Health Care Reform in any way that its represented is not a Conservative and if this Socialized Medicine is put upon this Nation by Democrats it will be that greatest destructive act that any political Party has ever enacted against America and the American people.

Finally don’t let headlines like this fool you, “Democrats see little chance for GOP cooperation on health care.”
With no need to negotiate with Republicans, Democrats might be better able to focus their energy to move more quickly, relying on their large majorities in both houses.

Democratic senators might feel more empowered, for example, to define the authority of the nonprofit insurance cooperatives that are emerging as an alternative to a public insurance plan.

Republicans don’t have the votes to block anything that Democrats want to do. The very fact that Democrats and their media allies would even mention Republicans shows how desperate Democrats are to use Republicans for cover against public opinion. A turn coat RINO always gives Democrats the ability to say, “See it was a bipartisan effort, Republicans voted for Health Care Reform too!”

Notice how this entire article attempts to blame Republicans for not voting along with Democrats on this Democrat agenda item. (see article)

Ronald Reagan wouldn’t support this Health Care Reform and neither should any American!
