We are here today because the wars did not end when George Bush and his cronies got out of office. We are here today because the Democrats refused to end the wars and refused to end the slaughters when they earned a super majority in Congress in 2006 and when they won the White house in 2008-- Safia Arias of the International Socialist OrganizationOccupy Boston had a uniquely anti-American message last weekend. One speaker complained about America’s wars in the Middle East plus the fact that Democrats did not end the wars as they promised though they had a super majority in Congress in 2006 and a Democrat in the White house in 2008. Safia Arias of the International Socialist Organization: "We're here today to protest the last ten years of war and slaughter...by the 1% of society in our name... It's up to us to end these wars because no one else will do it...this system needs to be ended so our children don't have to live on a planet that's slowly getting annihilated... Only a movement that is big enough as this, that is so amazing, that is inclusive of the most scapegoated and vilified people in our society: Arabs, Muslims, immigrants ... No! We are many, you are few. Get the f*ck out of the entire world."
Get out of the entire world that sounds a lot like the president’s agenda for America too! Just more room in the world for the Muslim brotherhood, I always say.
