Obama builds Political Strawman about Patriotism

"These are the judgments I've made and the policies that we have to debate, because we do have differences in this election. One of the things that we have to change in this country is the idea that people can't disagree without challenging each other's character and patriotism.”—Sen. Barack Obama
How dare a Democrat attempt to dress someone down for questioning his or her political rival’s character and patriotism. For almost 7 years President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and any Republican in political office have had their character impugned by Democrats, their motives questioned by Democrats and their patriotism questioned by Democrats.

Sorry Barack the one thing that a Democrat can’t do is chide someone, anyone for questioning you and your Party when your Party viciously and brutally attacked a sitting President for almost 8 straight years for no other reason then he is a Republican. (see video)

But let's get it straight John McCain did not question your character nor did he question your patriotism, (There you go putting words in Sen. McCain's mouth again) McCain questioned your judgment and even you seem to believe that, judgment can be called into question.

Only the audacity of Democratic hypocrisy would stand before Veteran of Foreign Wars as Sen. Obama did having never worn the uniform or fought for his country and blatantly accuse John McCain of questioning his patriotism. (see story)

Sen. McCain like almost every other Democrat that has campaigned against you in the Democratic primaries, Sen. Clinton included, questions the fact that a man that only served in the Senate for a total of 143 working days is experienced enough to lead this great country! What’s that 4 months and some change?

However there are those who do question your patriotism because of your actions. I don’t know how the Veterans of Foreign Wars allowed you to escape when you besmirched one of their own, Sen. McCain is a War Veteran and POW.

A simple look at the record will ensure that no Veteran will vote for someone who disrespects the Flag, the American Anthem and an honored war veteran like Sen. McCain.

Sen. Obama you do this country a disservice when you pretend offense when there was none given. It seems that Sen. Clinton isn’t the only one with fantasies of coming under gun fire.

The difference between you and Sen. McCain is Sen. McCain has actually come under gun fire and you, Sen. Obama, only image that an honored war veteran took pot shots at your patriotism.

Sen. Obama your PATRIOTISM speaks for itself! (see follow videos)

Citizen concerned about Obama's Patriotism

Sen. Obama practices his own form of patriotism

Sen. Obama once again showing that you don't have to show patriotism to be a patriot

Like I said Sen. Obama your patriotism speaks for itself!

    O Great One!

Tell me, what body part was Obama holding during the third video clip, where the Star Spangled Banner was sung?

You complain about Potty Humor, yet you just posted some, relavant though that Potty Humor be!

One is reminded of the Browning poem entitled FitzGerald where one thinks but dares not utter the words "P*s on him!".

  2. You are too funny! Obama didn't mean his little stance as potty humor.

Why he intended to honor the flag and the national anthem as best he knew how.

His claims to love America are new found this general election he never mentioned his fidelity for America in the primaries.

And I'm sure his little outside pocket pool demonstration was quite incidental. Don't you think?

National anthems can be quite long and boring to boot!

I have to be honest. That video was kinky. It was far too suggestive. Although you make an effort to keep your blog clean, you venured into an area that "bends the rules".

However, you could correctly argue that Obama himself broke the rule of good taste, just as John F*#k kerry did when he said the F-word in reference to Bush thereby making the subject fair game.

OK, Obama broke the rule by playing with his male part during the singing of the Star Spangled Banner. That brings not only his Patriotism and his good taste into questin, and he's entitled to some backlash for it. I can see why you had to cover it, bt I think you should have preceded the video with some sort of Bad Taste Warning like "*** Warning: This video has content that can be interpreted as an obscenity and is suggested for Mature Audiences Only ***"

Just wait till I post this to some of the Feminist Blogger sites with the caption: What Body Part is Obama holding during the singing of the Star Spangled Banner? They'll be seeing RED!!!
