Obama may be unelectable without raising ineligibility Issues

Andrea Mitchell reports that a majority of Americans want change.
According to MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, the majority of American voters feel that Barry Hussein Soetoro does not deserve a second term, with only 43% supporting him for re-election. According to Mitchell polls, shows that 49% say that president Soetoro should be a one-term president.(see 1:35min video)

Democrats seem anxious to dump over an honorable person like Sara Palin while they support a dishonorable man who obtained the presidency by secrecy and deception, a man who still has all his vital records hidden from the American people.

Whoever faces Soetoro must make the records he is hiding the issue. If it is Palin, she has no alternative but to challenge Soetoro where he is the weakest. He is the weakest concerning his birth certificate and his hidden records.

Soetoro’s citizenship is the issue that will end American Progressivism finally in this Nation. Soetoro’s citizenship, or better stated, the lack there of is the lynch pin that ends the complete progressive movement.

Obama was born in Hawaii as his official birth certificate from Hawaii shows, and the facts on it were confirmed twice by the Republican officials and Republican governor of Hawaii.

Obama never became a citizen of Indonesia, nor was he adopted in Indonesia, nor did he legally change his name in Indonesia, as a simple telephone call to the Indonesian Embassy in Washington will confirm (ask for the press officer).

Obama was not born in Kenya. He was born in the USA, as the official birth certificate and the repeated confirmations of the Republican officials and Republican governor of Hawaii make clear.

If a person were born in Kenya, she or he would need a US travel document to get to the USA. That would be either a US visa on a foreign passport or the change to his mother's US passport to include him. One or the other would have had to have been applied for at a US Consulate in Kenya and granted before the child would be allowed to enter the USA.

If such a document existed, it would be easy to find because the records of the application for the visa or for the change to the mother's passport would still be in the files of the US State Department, filed under applications for visas and applications for changes to passports in Kenya in 1961. The Republicans were in charge of the US State Department until January 2009. No such document has been found. No such document exists.

  3. What the so called "birthers" want is full disclosure of Obama's birth and school records. We need to start there. To "anonymous" I say, where is your proof??? Where is the documentation to counter the facts that people concerned with the eligibility issue have presented 9read the court cases and look at their websites) - to say it does not exist because it has not been found when this administration has been fighting in court to prevent disclosure and to deny the petitioners their day in court smacks of deceit. A behavioral psychologist would say, it is not what a person says but what they do and what they fail to do that is most revealing.

The fact remains; The State of Hawaii didn't even accept their own COLB's as proof of an Hawaiian Birth until 2009 due to the ACT 96 program, which also allowed foreign born children to obtain a COLB.

To this day, the U.S. State Department does NOT accept all short-form COLB's as proof of U.S. Citizenship, which most know is NOT the same as a "natural born Citizen"...

Go read the State Departments own website; From the US State Department website> [Please note, some short (abstract) versions of birth certificates may not be acceptable for passport purposes.] http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/first/first_830.html#step3first

Hawaii officials stated numerous times they can and will release the long-form BC with the person's permission... which Obama refuses to give...

November 23, 2010 marks a fork in the road for the future of America of more than historic proportions — perhaps on par with events leading to the Civil War. To date, virtually all federal and state courts where actions have been brought seeking decision on the meaning of the Constitution’s Article 2 “natural born citizen” clause as a prerequisite for Barack Obama to be a lawful President and Commander in Chief of the United States (Mr. Obama having been born to a father of British/Kenyan nationality and father not a citizen of the United States), have been shut down, never getting beyond the issue of standing. To date, courts have very strategically (narrowly if not artfully) characterized and applied law and legal procedure steadfastly to prevent the question from ever rising to the merits — this on a host of different types and classes of plaintiffs, causes and defendants — admittedly under the most intensely implicit (if not more) pressure to do the same.

The national media (some say our 4th branch of government) has aided and abetted the avoidance by mischaracterizing this as a “Hawaii birth” a/k/a “birther” issue which is nothing more than a “red herring” in that the issue for Article 2 “natural born citizen” is Mr. Obama’s father. Moreover, the legal community has aided and abetted the avoidance by mischaracterizing the 1898 Supreme Court Case, Wong Kim Arc, which dealt with the meaning of “citizenship”, not the meaning of “natural born citizen” under Article 2.

November 23, 2010 may very well be the last chance for the Judicial Branch realistically to take up the issue, this on a case of legal standing solidly presented by Attorney Apuzzo and Commander Kerchner. If the Court finds no standing here, by a narrow interpretation of the same or otherwise, coming after all the rest of the “no standing” cases, it is doubtfull this important Constitutional issue can and will be resolved in any court of law. The question will nevertheless continue to fester, at tremendous national cost, never to abate, potentially to reach crisis stage, and in any event to undermine the structure of our Constitutional Republic.

It is more than chilling and says volumes that NOT ONE member of Congress will publicly speak on this or, better yet, since the Congress of the United States has more than a vested interest, opine if not as a “friend of the court” at the Supreme Court, in the court of public opinion — BEFORE the Supreme Court convenes on November 23, 2010.

The world is (should be) watching!

Re: “What the so called "birthers" want is full disclosure of Obama's birth and school records. ‘

Answer: Obama has released his official birth certificate. You have no right to see Obama’s school records, and you will not see them.

    Re: “Where is the documentation…?"

    Answer; Delighted to show you.

Here is a photocopy of Obama’s official birth certificate. Notice the seal on the back. Yes, it is on Factcheck’s site, but the idea that they could forge such a detailed document and the seal is laughable.

    http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html

Here is confirmation that it is the official and only birth certificate that Hawaii issues

Here is the first of the two confirmations by the officials in Hawaii.

    http://www.kitv.com/r/17860890/detail.html

Notice where it says that there is an original birth certificate filed. Well, in 1961 foreign birth certificates, even those from other states, could not be filed in Hawaii. So the birth certificate in Obama’s files must be a Hawaii birth certificate.

Here is the second of the two confirmations by the officials in Hawaii.

    http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2009-07-27-obama-hawaii_N.htm

Notice where it says that the document in the files VERIFIES that Obama was born in Hawaii. So, not only is there an official Hawaiian birth certificate in the files, but it says right on it that Obama was born in Hawaii. Hawaii has never allowed the Department of Health to issue a birth document of any kind that says on it that anyone was born in Hawaii unless there was proof that the child was born in Hawaii, and that is what the officials in Hawaii have confirmed twice.

And here is the confirmation by the governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle, a Republican, that says that Obama was born in Hawaii, in Kapiolani Hospital

    http://voices.washingtonpost.com/right-now/2010/05/hawaii_gov_lingle_answers_the.html

And here is the statement of a witness who recalls being told of Obama’s birth in Hawaii, in Kapiolani Hospital, in 1961:

Re: “this administration has been fighting in court to prevent disclosure…’

Answer: No it has not. Obama has already shown the official birth certificate of Hawaii. It has already been disclosed. There has never been a lawsuit just for the birth certificate. If there were, Obama would show the court the Certification of Live Birth, which is the official birth certificate—and it would be accepted by any court. But there has been NO such case. All the other cases are include demands for school and college records, which you have no right to see.

Re “He/she is a paid obot...’

Answer: Answer. Actually, I’m not paid. I am an Obama contributor; I paid him. But if I were paid, or you were paid, or we both were paid, it still would not change the fact that Obama was born in Hawaii and has shown proof of it, and the proof has been confirmed by the officials in Hawaii and the governor of Hawaii.

Re: “To this day, the U.S. State Department does NOT accept all short-form COLB's as proof of U.S. Citizenship, which most know is NOT the same as a "natural born Citizen"...’

Answer: The US State Department accepts the HAWAII COLB as proof of birth in the USA, and thousands of people use it to obtain passports every year.

EVERY US citizen at birth, mainly those who were born in the USA, is a Natural Born Citizen.

“Natural born citizen. Persons who are born within the jurisdiction of a national government, i.e. in its territorial limits, or those born of citizens temporarily residing abroad.” — Black’s Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition.

Re: “Hawaii officials stated numerous times they can and will release the long-form BC with the person's permission...’

Answer: They have never said any such thing. They have said repeatedly that the ONLY birth certificate that they release is the new official birth certificate, the Certification of Live Birth or COLB.

Oh, and by the way, the footprint at the side of the page is not Obama's. It is from a FORGED "birth certificate" allegedly from Kenya that a convicted felon claims to have gotten there, but it is an obvious forgery.

Obama’s Kenyan grandmother NEVER said that he was born in Kenya. She said repeatedly in the taped interview that he was born in Hawaii, where his father was studying, and she said in another interview that the first that her family in Kenya had heard of Obama’s birth was in a letter from Hawaii.

Obama was not born in Kenya. He was born in Hawaii, as his official birth certificate from Hawaii shows, and the facts on it were repeatedly confirmed by the officials in Hawaii. Obama has already posted a copy of the official birth certificate, the Certification of Live Birth, which is the only birth document that Hawaii has been sending out since 2001. Hawaii no longer sends out copies of the original birth certificate, only of the official birth certificate: The Certification of Live Birth.

  8. To those who are tempted to buy into the garbage that "anonymous" is spewing: You'll have to follow the months of articles posted on Freerepublic. com around the birthcertificate or eligbility issue. Go to Mario Apuzo's website, charles kirshner's site, go www.birtherreport.com. Compare what Linda Lingle said about it to the actual press releases made by the Janet Okubo, there is so much out there - but you have to do your homework. "Anonymous" is gas bag (my opinion). but don't take my word for it. Do your homework. Read the other side. Listen to the interviews with all the "birther" attorneys, listen to Charles Kircherner, Terry Lakin, Terry Lakin's brother. Read the court decisions - the rulings about "standing" - one can't help but get the sense of one big con job perpretrated on the American people. The truth is coming out more and more.

    Hey JW --

"Anonymous" gives you facts and links. You call him a gas bag and say that he/she is spewing garbage. Then you point to the nonsense on Free Republic, home of the deranged birthers led by Beckwith, Butterdezillion and Polarik.

You even bring up Terry Lakin, whose new attorneys have clearly distanced themselves from birtherism.

Any reasonable person can see who to believe here, and it ain't you, buddy.

  12. Thank you, Alaphiah.

I almost never take the time to write in a blog. Too, busy. I should not have called "anonymous" a name (I apologize to you Anonymous, my irritation got in the way of civility).

From my position, I have been quite amazed at the power plays, the distortions, deceptions, the bullying by news commentators (Chris Matthews and others) of the Obama defenders around this issue, not to mention Obama's own glib comments and side-stepping around this. All this has been anything but "Transparency" and in itself, reveals so much if people are able or willing to take the blinders off. The repeated lie that the computer generated COLB presented by Factcheck.org is the official and/or appropriate verification is an example of what I'm talking about (does anyone really think that Obama, the president of the United States, would be denied a copy of his original long form birth certificate to clear up a question like this??)- - initially Chris Matthews angrily & condescendingly, for example, asserted it was "the original" birth certificate. A few months late his wording changed to it was the "standard" certificate issued. This means something - not "proof" but it means something. Lou Dobbs being thrown off the air, Michael Savage losing his position at KFSO in San Francisco - which I suspect had something to do with interviewing "birther" attorneys on his show (no matter what your feelings are about him).

    There are so many examples.

And of course the bottom line is that Obama could make all this go away if he allowed open access to his personal birth and school records - if he is such a man of integrity, if he meets the constitutional qualifications for the office, he should have nothing to worry about being open, transparent and reassuring to all the people that he is constitutionally eligible. So why is he not doing that??

(By the way, I am a libertarian leaning registered independent - conservative on some issues, liberal on others. Lies irk me - and I have said what I have to say.)

Re: "There is a myopic denial around this issue affecting so many people- "anonymous", is one of them.'

Answer. In order to believe that Obama was born outside of the USA, you need to believe something like the Kenya myth--and there is no evidence for it, and it is incredibly unlikely considering the expense and the risk of such a trip. AND, you have to believe that Obama's parents were able to smuggle their child into the USA without a visa for him AND lie about his place of birth AND get away with it.

There isn't even evidence that Obama's mother had a passport in 1961 (and not many people did in those days, and even fewer in Hawaii), and it was extremely rare for women to travel late in pregnancy. The myth that she took the long, difficult, risky and expensive trip to Kenya is particularly crazy.

Not only is there official proof of Obama's birth in Hawaii, but the two officials and the governor of Hawaii (a Republican) have confirmed it repeatedly. And there is this witness, who recalls being told of Obama's birth in Hawaii in 1961 and writing home about it: http://www.buffalonews.com/incoming/article137495.ece

Obama’s Kenyan grandmother NEVER said that he was born in Kenya. 14. Re: "Obama could make all this go away if he allowed open access to his personal birth and school records.."

Answer: Obama has shown the OFFICIAL birth certificate of Hawaii. AND, it is the only birth document that he can show because Hawaii does not send out copies of the original anymore. It hasn't sent them out since the Certification became the official birth certificate in 2001.

    Re: college and school records.

Answer: No president or candidate has ever shown detailed school or college records. A few showed grade point averages. There is no law that says that a president or candidate must show those records. Obama certainly does not have to show them, and if he did, he would be submitting to the cries of his enemies, the birthers--so there is an excellent reason why he should NOT show them.

If in the next presidential election, the Republican shows detailed school records, Obama is likely to do so too.
