Al Gore Is Right

Al Gore, at the TED corp.

About Global warming/Climate change? No. Gore announced that the debate about GW/CC is over he is right about that. Gore's piped piper like arguments has the whole world following and the latest addition to his list of devotees is President Bush.

President Bush has recently announced that his administration wants Congress to pass a law to fight Global warming.
Bush administration officials have told Republicans in Congress that they feel pressure to act now [on Global warming legislation] because they fear a coming regulatory nightmare.--Stephen Dinan
This regulatory nightmare is a world carbon tax that will be imposed on industrial nations by the United Nations backed by profiteers who stand to make trillions of dollars from taxing world economies and changing world energy consumption to sources that these profiteers control.

Instead of Bush challenging Gore's premise as mounting scientific evidence shows that Global warming as Al Gore is presenting it is all wrong, President Bush caves, in "go along to get along" fashion .

Following is a February 2008 presentation that Al Gore gave to the TED corporation it is about 27 minutes long. In it are the usual Global warming doomsday scenarios however about 15 minutes into this pitch to “raise the consciousness” of the world Mr. Gore admits that he is profiting and that he stands to profit a great deal from these initiatives as the whole world starts to comply.

Gore’s final thought is with you the American people and your Congress. His wish is to strip out all opposition in Congress to his plans to change the world and he cites the very plan used to accomplish that in Australia with the newly elected administration there. He also notes that all three current U.S. presidential hopefuls are on board with his program.

President Bush’s about face on this issue is a warning that World Carbon taxes are inevitable no matter if the science of Global warm is wrong the consensus is to be followed. And now Al Gore making his case. And note from the very beginning he wishes to control worldwide behavior. (please play video)

There are a lot of great investments you can make. If you are investing in tar sands, or shale oil, then you have a portfolio that is crammed with sub-prime carbon assets.

And it is based on an old model. Junkies find veins in their toes when the ones in their arms and their legs collapse. Developing tar sands and coal shale is the equivalent. Here are just a few of the investments I personally think make sense.

I have a stake in these so I’ll have a disclaimer there. But geo-thermal concentrating solar, advanced photovoltaics, efficiency, and conservation.
– Al Gore

As Gore spoke these words, pictures of electric cars, windmills and solar panels appeared in multiple slides on the screen with company names at the bottom such as Amyris (biofuels), Altra (biofuels), Bloom Energy (solid oxide fuel cells), Mascoma (cellulosic biofuels), GreatPoint Energy (catalytic gasification), Miasole (solar cells), Ausra (utility scale solar panels), GEM (battery operated cars), Smart (electric cars), and AltaRock Energy (geothermal power).

As such, like an investment advisor or stock broker giving a seminar to prospects and clients, Al Gore was actively recommending people put money in companies he already has a financial stake in.

And, as he tours the world demanding nations stop burning fossil fuels, he will financially benefit if they follow his advice and move to technologies that he has already invested in. -- Noel Sheppard

Least you forget Global warm/Climate change is really about Global money, Global profiteering, Global taxes and Global control over people that’s what I hear when I listen to Al Gore, what are you hearing?

  1. Gore may have been all wet when it came to his theory of global warming, but some of the suggestions are still valid ones.

For starters, we can cut down on our dependence on foreign oil, develope the new technologies that will also create jobs, and clean up the air and water that we breathe.

I still feel that climate change (aka "global warming") is an ongoing phenomenon sice time began. Gore took advantage of that, made millions, got a Nobel Peace Prize, and alerted the sleeping world to what everyone should have already known.

Now, let's use his "invention" of global warming, as we did his "invention" of the internet........ and create new technology and jobs.

  2. brook,
You not concerned about the fraudulent way in which these people intend to impose exorbitant carbon taxes on the general public or the world populist at large?

  3. Yes Al, I am...

but I am also concerned about the manner in which Gore manipulated the "global warming" facts!

He had to have known when he wrote his book, that the earth had been cooling for several years, and yet he perpetuated this hoax on the entire world.

I don't know what's worse. The poisons in the air that we breathe, or the facts being poisoned by the likes of Gore.

  4. Adding another tax on top of rising gas prices, a souring economy, and stagnant wage increases may just turn out to be the very last straw for a lot of people. Parasites like Gore are financially able to handle it, but a lot of people are not that well off.
