PALIN

Republican Vice President Nominee Sarah Palin
Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown.

And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves.

I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a "community organizer," except that you have actual responsibilities.

I might add that in small towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes praise on working people when they are listening, and then talks about how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people aren't listening.

We tend to prefer candidates who don't talk about us one way in Scranton and another way in San Francisco.
-- Sarah Palin, Republican Vice President Nominee

Who is Sarah Palin? She is the woman that Sen. Hillary Clinton was pretending to be and she is the Presidential candidate that Barack Obama wishes he was.

She has all of the experience, all of the charisma, and all of the genuineness that completely eclipses the Democrat Presidential ticket. (transcript of Palin’s speech)

Goodbye pantsuits we much prefer skirts and dresses and women who are woman enough to wear them.

If there were any thoughts that Conservatism is on the wane please relieve yourself of them because Sarah Palin is the future of Conservatism and boy the future is looking bright!

From her opening acceptance of the Republican nomination to be Vice President Gov. Palin set the tone to let it be known that she is a gifted orator and consummate politician. Gov. Palin’s acceptance speech was a rollout of personal introduction, family, political accomplishments, political philosophy, support for John McCain and justification of Republican and Conservative ideas. Oh yeah and Barack Obama push backs!

Gov. Palin’s career is demonstrative of the fact that she can bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan and never, never have to attempt to act like a man.

Sen. McCain choice of this rising star is a tribute to his judgment and all but assures that he will be the 44th President of these United States of America.

Republican Vice President nominee Sarah Palin endeared herself to the GOP last night and put Washington on notice that a McCain-Palin administration will shake up the business as usual Washington insiders and bring the change that we all have been waiting for. And as well McCain-Palin will defend America from America’s enemies both foreign and domestic.

Sarah Palin you do us all proud! Now let’s work to get this historic Presidential team elected to serve in November! Sorry Sen. Obama you just don’t measure up to a Sarah Palin.

  1. Palin sure is refreshing, after all of these months of Obama the saleman and Hitlery flapping their gums.

Maybe it's time for the libs to go "chamge" the air in their heads.

The forign policy argument against Palin is silly to those who bother to look at their global maps. Alaska has three significant foriegn neighbors: Russia, Canada, and Japan. Only Maine, a neighbor to Canada and the French territory of St. Pierre, or Florida, a neighbor to Cuba and several small Carribean nations, come close. By definition, Palin has significant foriegn experience.

As per her other experience, is not that of small town Mayor roughly equivalent to Grover Cleveland's experience as Sherrif? Eisenhower and Truman were once a Lieutenants and Carter was a Petty Officer, both small potatoes positions. However, small potatoes positions are proving grounds both big positions like General or Governor.

As per her ability to manage big budgets, let just say that a $26 Billion Deal with the Oil Companies is a job that only a Governor of Texas can aspire to.

Experience is nice, but it's not as good as a track record. True, a track record can be the result of experience; however, I would hardly match the experience of 40 years of goofing off with one year of getting $26 Billion deals with big Oil Companies, and dealing with neighbors like Russia, Canada, and Japan.

I would add that John McCain is "inexperienced" with dealing with hurricanes like Gustav, of which he has had one week's worth of realtime experience. Yet, he was tremendously successful, as he raised money and showed signs of being part of the FEMA effort. What experience does Obama have with hurricanes?

  3. Anon you must have missed my previous post where Anderson Cooper and Barack Obama were speaking from the Obama Hurricane command post (Obama looking and acting Presidential I might add)and Obama was relaying that he passed hurricane legislation as a result of hurricane Katrina.

It's quite humorous if you get a chance check out the video.

  4. Sarah Palin's performance last night, was an out-of-the-park HOME RUN!

She not only put the Democratic opposition on notice that she is no "wilting lilly", she hit the feminist movement square in their panty-hose!

A truly MAGNIFICENT choice by John McCain.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
