The Democrats, like all of the leftists on message boards such as Slate, can’t hold any debate based solely on facts. Sooner or later, they resort to name-calling and outright lying.
A perfect example of this is the label placed on the Bush administration and Republican Congress, by the loser Democrats. I’d like to take a closer look at that!
No politician is "lilly white" in reputation..... we all realize that everyone has some skeletons in his/her closet. But coming from where the accusations do, it leaves lots to think about, and even more to investigate.
The Democratic website....
......makes it a priority to "expose corruption". Take a look! Their "Corruption Files" list; Abuse of Power, Smear Campaigns, Cronies, Coverups/Stonewalling, as just a part of their accusations. Their policy is to accuse, accuse, accuse, and eventually some of the accusations actually stick.
Representative John Doolittle (R-CA) stepped down from his seat on the House Appropriations Committee, under pressure; U.S. Attorneys were fired for any reasons the Dems could trump up; Wolfowitz was shanghied from his job; Scooter Libby was set up; Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) "violated federal election law" and is in big trouble. All kinds of accusations were leveled against Halliburton, and unfounded allegations were made, tying Cheney to Halliburton............. long after he left the company. The list goes on and on, ad infinitum
Now, let’s look at the other side of the coin. Where were these "watchdogs" when all this was going on????
