“America is not what it once was” You’re right Mr. President, you are Right!

Mr. Obama has racked up more than $4 trillion in debt. His massive spending stimulus has failed and made the jobless situation worse. Before his stimulus package was passed in February 2009, the unemployment rate stood at 7.8 percent. Today it is at 9.1 percent - and rising. —Jeffery Kuhner
You remember that cute little girl three and a half years ago who asked then presidential candidate Sen. Barry Hussein Soetoro why he was running for president? In summary Mr. Soetoro lamented that he was running for president because, “America is no longer what it could be, what it once was.” (see 2:48min video)

The false promise that Mr. Soetoro was presenting at that time was that he was going to fix all that was wrong with America. Fast forward to 2011 following the benefit of a Democrat controlled House of Representatives starting in 2006 that combined with Democrats winning control of the Senate in 2008 plus Soetoro’s presidency in 2008 Democrats had total control of the government and could have enacted anything that they wanted without any Republican help.

However, instead of working on the deficit, debt or jobs Democrats instead worked to dismantle Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and then they institutionalized the Orwellian titled, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or as it is better-known Obamacare. (see story)

America’s economy is in free-fall. Growth is anemic. The stock market is collapsing. Real unemployment - combining the high jobless rate with rampant underemployment - is higher than 16 percent. Manufacturing is dead. Deficits, debt and government spending are at record levels. Our credit rating has been downgraded for the first time in history. The trade deficit has exploded to the highest in years. A possible Great Depression haunts the land. Primarily one man is to blame: President Obama.--Jeffrey T. Kuhner

After Democrats ran what the president called an already out of money and functioning in deep deficits economy further into a historical credit downgrade they then had the temerity to blame the America people for their mess. In essences, Democrats blamed Tea Party-Americans for sending Republicans to Congress to end the out of control spending of the President and his Party.

[Obama] has run up three consecutive trillion-dollar-plus budget deficits, an orgy of spending unrivaled in our history. The result: Nearly 2 million private-sector jobs have been wiped out, the U.S. dollar has eroded, investor and business confidence has been shattered, and America is no longer the world’s economic superpower. Washington has become a financial colony of China.—Jeffrey T. Kuhner

The Sen. Soetoro was correct, America is no longer what it could be, what it once was. Only this change to America’s financial fate is at the hand of Democrats and their president Barry Hussein Soetoro.
